The MMII ◊ Marilyn Manson Is Innocent

The MMII is a cognitive exegesis ◊ an interpretive defence of Marilyn Manson's innocence. This project began as a birthday gift for him — first released on his birthday, January 5th (15), 2024. On the same date in 2025, it was re-released with a new introduction. Now, it continues to evolve toward a new card set which explores the traditional Bwiti themes of Iboga addiction recovery as found in his album HOLY WOOD. As well, a series of lyric interpretation essays will go with this set, which form a gorgeous book to go with the cards.
The MMII is a bold, genre-defying work that fuses spiritual advocacy, lyrical analysis, personal testimony, and artistic symbolism into a unique documentary-art statement. It stands not only as a defence of Marilyn Manson against public allegations but also as a metaphysical reframing of his artistic and cultural role — casting him as a misunderstood figure of important ethical challenge, punk intelligence, and practical healing power.

The work draws heavily from my own lived experience as an Ayahuasqera Curandera Perfumera of the Shipibo-Conibo psychedelic medicine traditions, framing Manson through the lens of plant medicine, Iboga / Bwiti addiction-recovery themes, sacred mirrors, and conscious justice. This allows for a highly original cosmology where art, scandal, myth, and healing intersect.
My groundbreaking interpretation of HOLY WOOD and other lyrics creates a parallel narrative of spiritual sacrifice and illumination, elevating the discourse beyond tabloid narratives or even fan-driven defenses. The work treats Manson as an important socio-cultural antidote — and this symbolic reading, paired with metaphor-rich language and perfume imagery, gives The MMII its own artistic depth.
The inclusion of my own communications with Manson’s wife, Lindsay Warner, along with personal Ayahuasca visions from within the safe container of traditional healing ceremony, deepens the emotional and spiritual significance of the this as an art piece. Additionally, this works pairs with an educational archive as my video demonstration of the HAYWARIKUY ◊ DESPACHO ◊ BURNT OFFERING BUNDLE TRADITION is an integrated part of the video in short form.
The MMII firmly rejects the victim-industrial complex and the superficial logic of internet cancel-culture. Instead, it re-centers the discourse around sovereignty, complexity, and the healing of wounded masculine energy. It offers a path for reconciliation that is spiritual rather than punitive. This focus on peace, joint-recovery and reconciliation provides not only a convincing angle in favour of Manson’s perspective, but a valuable resource that stands alone.
The MMII is an avant-garde visionary disquisition disguised as a documentary. It refuses binary thinking, and instead proposes an entirely new frame for understanding art, ethics, and true profound innocence in the this rapidly evolving technological era, where new skills are being collectively evolved. This is a philosophically holistic work which not only transcends, but integrates the artistically relevant polarity of the public conversation on Manson’s character.
It is visionary media in the true sense : Intermedia art (a form of art which falls between the cracks of genre and definition) made to initiate change in perception and genuine, heart-based expansion of consciousness.
