GOD'S EYE (30STM) & BEAUTIFUL ONE (UNITY LIFE) ◊ TWIN SONGS FROM 2005

◊🖤🔥 It's ironic just how deeply disturbing this subject material actually is, of the eye of God as both songs illustrate, when you consider the entertainment value and beauty of each in this cryptic lyrical and musical format. As a writer, I'm very unable to break apart the meanings today of these two works — even my own artist's statement — at risk of triggering the audience. However, it's worth creating this type of music, since this issue may be one of the most centrally relevant in existence, as the most pervasive in human (and even ecological) psychology — and all forms of perception from mystic or dreamlike to optical or anatomical.  

◊🧬⚠️ As a young woman in 2005, I would have had no understanding of how God's Eye by 30STM has anything to do with its own title. Yet the information related in those lyrics is so important from a personal safety standpoint — especially in my unique case — that it's a miracle I was able to function in society at all considering the blindness of my early formative years. I relate strongly to the character Bella in Twilight. Surrounded by vampires who can read the thoughts of all humans, she is picked out as different and strange — as she is the only one whose thoughts they cannot read. In my case, it is a different situation, almost a mystic opposite, yet incredibly comparable. 

◊🧬👁 It was 12 years from the time my artist's statement Beautiful One was released, until I was taught the radical information which describes the meaning of God's Eye — and this completely transformed my life. In some very important, extremely intense and formally life changing Ayahuasca ceremonies that year in 2017, I was taught something by the medicine which it was very hard to learn. This teaching, which I cannot explain today, was so difficult to process that it took me several years to finally absorb it. This was such an example of why the traditional psychedelic plant medicine of Ayahuasca is considered a mother to humanity. This medicine is not just a healer but a mothering, loving teacher. In this case, I was being taught something that no one, not my parents or anyone else, would ever be able to teach me explicitly — no matter how important it was to my ability to function. Cryptic songs like God's Eye would always be far too subtly phrased to help me.

◊🕊👁🩸 Yet I was the only one who required support in learning this. Considering that my lack of natural perception of this crucial information made me completely different than others, it was an enormous life process to be able to believe it. As a secret, quiet and underground thing that no one ever speaks of, the belief in it was enough to worry me that I was delusional. Only by observing Ayahuasca tradition and having reverence and receptivity to the teachings of Ayahuasca was I able to psychologically cope with the incredulity that surrounded this view. This respect for the teachings of the medicine was enough to allow me to study and explore for years, as the information was progressively, thoroughly confirmed and proven to me through testing the theory constantly.

◊🌍 This important knowledge has made me so much more capable of functioning as a normal person in society. Relating to other people is now so much easier. Finally I can perceive the depth of normal human interaction, both socially and practically, in order to successfully relate and reflect with others.

◊🖤🕊👁 I will never be the same as other people — the condition of being different in this way is fully irreversible. But with the ability to empathize, I can create a healthy language of interaction with the outside world, translating between myself and the collective. This is one reason why I have been inspired to gear so many of The UNITY LIFE Mystery School resources into the All Ages & Abilities accessibility framework, emphasizing how impaired abilities can be a strength or higher form of ability. Though blind to some realities, I have negotiated the unique perceptual framework of my psyche to be able to act as a true mystic seer. In some ways my sight is much greater than others, due to the elegant simplicity of its workings. I feel this empowerment holds value for us all.

◊❤️‍🔥 Thinking back on 2005 and earlier years, I'm amazed that I survived without this information. The danger that I was at risk of in everyday encounters was extreme. In fact, I did not survive unscathed, as I have been the victim of much terrific harm, only succeeding at my own healing and recovery through immersion in ancient healing practices of traditional medicine and much more. But I feel that my agency and ability to take those healing steps was fuelled by work being done throughout the collective to support the safety of all, in relation to this very specific issue described in God's Eye. That song is a very simple poem which sums up an enormously complex collective effort to create a resilient and cohesive network of resistance against harm. 

◊👻 It clarifies an outside antagonist who is responsible for this apparently compromised state. The coin being specifically branded 30STM rather than a standard currency implies that a trick has been played on this antagonist. It is a statement about impaired perception, so fitting to the theme of the song. The misguided act of forcing or violation which leads to this appearance of selling out is framed as intrinsic with impairment of vision — a word which can mean aspiration for ethical ideals which benefit all involved rather than cutting one person down to raise another up at the longterm expense of everyone — or even the ability to avoid being tricked. It implies that illusion has been used as a tool of self-protection, imitating a "successful" violation in order to pacify the violator from further acts of harm. 

◊👁⚠️ This type of perceptually themed poetry is very natural to the mass media by way of their trade. Though bands like 30STM are distinct within this vast institution, they play the classic mass media role of communication — transmission of information. Their role is to navigate how music and other forms of art meet with the proverbial eyes of a collective whose perceptual framework is as diverse as "the masses" — an enormously chaotic and overpopulated world.  The antagonist in the song represents so many people. While these individuals assume the song is a confession, the true fans realize that it boasts of one of the most beautiful qualities humanity has to offer.
