30STM ◊ #DIAMONDS2UNITYLIFE RE: NIRVANA

It was an honour to receive a like on my comment to 30 Seconds to Mars recently, on February 13th. This was about their post of their 2006 A Beautiful Lie release party which included a performance of The Fantasy at a Virgin records store — in reference to the 20 year album anniversary of A Beautiful Lie. The original post is found here.

Recently I had tagged them in a post on instagram in which I had celebrated their new release of a merch TShirt with my own custom AI art of their merch. This post was in promotion of a new landing page for the #diamonds2unitylife category of the UNITY LIFE Archive. It broke down a hidden code within their TShirt which had been the reason why I purchased it — one that I've discussed in multiple UNITY LIFE Archives about them and which I feel they found fascinating. This hidden code — called #diamonds2unitylife — is a voluminous study I've been working on in secret since 2019 which assesses a pattern language in the media which symbolizes the healing transformation of society. You can find the breakdown I'm referring to here.

I believe they had appreciated this piece, not just as some AI fan art that I created, but as a pattern of insight expressed through much of my art about them.

This, I feel, was reflected in the choice to like this comment — they valued my search for subtle, deeper dimensions of meaning that are not immediately obvious in their art. The notion that there was some subtle hint of protest in this performance is certainly abstract but represents the type of open and curious thought process which leads often to profound insight.

I can't say how deeply they have studied the way my mind seems to work based on the artwork I've dedicated to them and widely promoted, but there is also more to say about this, too. Were they to have familiarized themselves by now with The 16 KEYS SUPPORT TOOL, a set of cards and existing UNITY LIFE resource which is part of The 7 of 9 (a card system dedicated to Jared) this would have even deeper meaning. Sometimes I sense that they may have picked up on how The 16 KEYS have caused me to study performances like this with recognition of future revelations as being somehow intrinsic even to earlier works. For example, the story of Jared's documentary Artifact about a struggle of opposition between the band and their own label only came up 2 years later from this performance — but I sensed the context of these future events even within that earlier time. It was not their message to the world that year, but to pick up on early culminations of events towards a future inevitability is often my frame of mind. I sometimes wonder if they pick up on this thought pattern and appreciate it as creative.

Also, I think by now they are generally aware that I have a pattern throughout the long history of my art of comparing Jared Leto with Kurt Cobain — so I'm sure they recognized this theme of mine in the comment and took opportunity to honour the unique perspective. Most bands love being compared to NIRVANA, but I feel there'd be more to it in this case. I had also recently tagged them in a full archival record of all our many interactions on social media (which mentioned this). This record touched on the deeper history behind our interactions today, spanning all the way back to some of my seminal early impressions — long before I found them on Meta at all. This explained the longterm roots behind this interest of mine in Jared and Kurt, and therefore 30STM and NIRVANA, as reflections of each other. This may have opened their mind more to my views.
