◊💎⏳ Each year, my birthday falls on a day which is usually inconvenient and difficult to arrange a party for. Everyone is spent from Christmas holidays or else still celebrating them, while gearing up for New Year's. For that reason, and others, I like to do a full month each year of birthday celebrations. This way, I can arrange meetings and connections with friends and family throughout the time, when it's convenient for them. Also, the one-on-one emphasis tends to inspire people to buy me dinner, more than it would inspire them to pay into a party. Plus, this saves me the expense of hosting an expensive party to entertain my friends, which is usually out of budget anyway.
Running Blog of Birthday Festivities Dec 28th - Jan 28th
As things happen throughout the month, I will chronicle them below. That said, don't miss the early birthday presents, meals and drinks from prior to December 28th, below this section. This year it was absolutely mindblowing.
Jan 2, '26 : The annual tradish birthday cake as a joint cake to celebrate my (Dec 28) and Marilyn Manson's (Jan 5) birthdays which are close to each other, expanded this year to also include Jared Leto (Dec 26) ◊ I went super formal about it this time cause I was in the midst of a huge project creating the first prototype for The 7 of 9 in honor of their birthdays as a present for them <3 <3 )) It was delicious — definitely a better quality of cake from the SAFEWAY bakery — not their cheaper kinds )) :)) (sparkles).
Dec 28, '25 : I must say, there's practically no one I'd have rather spent the exact day of my birthday with than my dear friend Yang :)) I always enjoy Yang's company, even when we both feel like shit. Honestly, the vibe is always there regardless of anything. But this day we were both feeling awesome, making it one of the best of Yang hangouts. Highlights of our conversation include him sharing with me that he is reading the teen fiction series Animorphs which is incredibly interesting, about an alien race that takes over any body as a host, similar to the character Dax on Deep Space Nine or the series Altered Carbon ◊ And I ran him through what's going on behind the scenes right now at UNITY LIFE Mystery School )) < ] We followed dinner and the 3D DBOX movie with a stroll around the Vancouver Art Gallery, and I caught some photos of the features that night :)) I had the best time ◊ Can't believe the month of festivities has only just begun :)))) (2party!!)(x2)
Dec 28, '25 : This was possibly the most photogenic dinner I've had, let alone birthday dinner. This was just the appetizers we started with. Oh and just Yang's drink, which looked pretty cool. Chicken, pork dumplings and hummous )) As everything at JOEY it was all ridiculously good <3 <3
Jan 1 - 28, '26 : Throughout the birthday month, I made various progressive attempts at creating the most picturesque waffles to match the birthday waffles I had with Nicky at the restaurant — using the new waffle maker from my Dad :)) You can travel back in time to the very first one, from the latest and best :)) (sparkles)(x4)
Dec 28, '25 : The dessert at JOEY is always the highlight for me. I'd say that other desserts of theirs are more photogenic, but this is incredibly delicious so that's why I got it :)) <3 <3 It's flavoured with apple syrup, brown sugar and dried apple (sparkles)(x2). Ahhh it was amazing once again, and went so well with mint tea )) <3 <3
I was followed, obviously as a birthday present, by Pola Weiss, former partner of Marilyn Manson (as well as former fiancé or so and longtime partner of Trent Reznor) and star of Marilyn Manson's video The Long Hard Road Out Of Hell. She always had allowed me to follow her from my previous acct but we had not yet connected on my new instagram. She is a dear friend of mine actually, but often retreats for long periods of time from social media, making any appearance of hers on there extra exciting. Also, though we've been good friends, she has never in all our years of friendship felt she could follow me, for long-story reasons, and so her decision to activate with me on my new instagram acct was very special. That said, it was because she remembered my birthday, as we both remember each others' every year and always connect at least that often to celebrate and share love )) < ] <3<3 I have also left in this picture another sweet follow from a facebook friend, Alyssa, which was also as a birthday present, and a like from the famous band Deadly Apples.
My Dad got me tickets to the Foo Fighters .... AGAIN !!!! Previously when I saw them in Seattle that was all courtesy of my dear Dad, and that was also a birthday present that time. But this time so much better, cause it's floor seats in my home town of Vancouver, which makes it so nice and easy and smooth flowing to be there )))))) It's a long wait but I look forward to it < ]*
Dec 28, '25 : My Dad gave me some birthday money. It came as a surprise because he already got me an Apple Watch as an early birthday present so this was a shock, and so nice to receive !! With it, I'm going to a restaurant probably, and I got a professional waffle maker (with a series of accessories as well) with which to make extremely professional, restaurant grade waffles similar to the ones I had with Nicky at my birthday brunch :)) So exciting !! <3 <3
Dec 28, '25 : This might have been the most photogenic meal I've ever had, perfect for my birthday dinner )) Here's what Yang and I got for our mains - he had the steak and sushi with the spicy tuna avocado roll and I had the Vancouver style seared salmon sushi :)))))) I must say it was once again ridiculously good <3<3 Literally insane < ]
Dec 29, '25 : My birthday post on instagram was at least 3x more successful than my usual posts and was delivered to a much wider audience beyond my followers. This came as a relief after lately my algorithm had been stagnating. As you can see, I received a like from the famous musician and videographer, Antoine LaMothe of Deadly Apples, as well as notable visionary artists Roman Villagrana and Mesonja, along with dear friends and allies )) <3 <3
Early Birthday Presents, Meals & Drinks
◊💐🎁 This year in 2025 has been the best birthday of my adult life, even as I write this on December 27th. I will return to this entry and update how it went throughout the month, but at this time, it's felt like my birthday arrived very early this year — even longer than a full birthday month in the build towards the day. As early as Halloween, I started to notice that my friends were showering me with presents, which is extremely unusual. My father even bought me a birthday present early around then in order to make it a surprise right when I least expected it. The Apple Watch he gave me was by far the greatest gift of them all. But here is a catalogue of what I received before the date :

Twin perfumes from Nicky ◊ ◊ both from Molton Brown London )) Coastal Cypress & Sea Fennel ◊ and Orange & Bergamot )) Both smell really refined. I like the cypress & sea fennel the best, personally < ] <3 :))
Reposted caption from my instagram : I’m so overwhelmed with gratitude for this beautiful present given to me by @keelyesee … It meant so much to me to actually find out that in secret, she had been thinking of me with so much love for a while, and had actually gotten me a specially customized crybaby phone charm, specifically a bee to represent my name Ba which starts with a B, and with diamonds added to the tears !! )) It just so happens to be BIPOC as well (my fav type of crybabys in a way) which starts with a B. She really picked up on how much crybabys mean to me when I had posted mine, and so very thoughtful of her! )) Actually, I wasn’t even aware that you can exactly have charms on your phone if it’s not a hand strap, so this was quite an incredibly special and perfect surprise which was soooooo much fun to have on my phone. Also, this came with 2 more charms. She was so smart knowing I also have HELLO KITTY purse charms, but I can’t beieve this - it’s the perfume and lipstick HELLO KITTY … and as she knows, perfume really means so much to me and the theme is completely central to UNITY LIFE Mystery School. Also lipstick is the symbol of my idol Dita Von Teese. So that was through the roof exciting. Plus, there was room to put one of the charms on my work phone too, and I enjoyed this exciting new upgrade with the labubu and pistachio ice cream for that - lol it is so deluxe quality as a charm! I am a huge fan of labubus as well - I mean just love popmart - and although crybabys are more my thing, I still just have so much room in my heart for labubus - it’s labubus forever, especially with pistachio ice cream.
I received this incredible bouquet from Calvin who is an addictions counsellor, delivered to my door on Dec 2nd, with a birthday card. His role as an addictions counsellor was coinciding powerfully with an archive I was writing at the time about addictions awareness, and I found that most exceptionally moving. Considering that it was a difficult piece to write this bouquet felt like the universe congratulating me on my great work )) < ] < ]
A very nice smelling luxury perfume from Nicky. BERGDUFT No 1 ◊ edelweiss )) Nicky had lost the box cause he had owned this previously so we don't know what essences are in it but it's very nice, from Germany < ]*
I love this diamond and rounded geometric shaped green glassware from Nicky !! )) ◊ ◊ It holds a half-cup measurement of wine, and based on this I decided to sometimes have a tiny glass of wine just now and then, since I'm not really drinking these days but it's kinda nice to have a tiny bit now and then for a celebration or whatever )) < ] < ]

Beautiful Marie Christine ◊ Côtes De Provence Rosé from Château de Lumérade (Cru Classé) ◊ from La France )) A gorgeous birthday present from Nicky 🎁 )) 💎✨✨ ... Nicky specially chose it because of the shape of the bottle resembling the female figure and I remarked that I had recently posted about high waisted and similar women's fashions en lieu of a beautiful dress gifted to me by Kiwi @keelyestee (which is in this blog, photo included). These types of fashions, I feel honour the rounded shape of la belly feminine as beautiful and powerful < ]* :))

This is by far the best present I got (or will get) for my birthday this year, from my Dad. There are countless photos of it all over the website and my instagram because it makes a perfect way to show a picture without stealing it off someone else, or illustrating ideas about my health re: exercise.
Reposted from instagram : Initial freakout post. Listen … OMG there will be many more posts about this … but listen - MY DAD SURPRISED ME WITH A NEW APPLE WATCH !!!! My Dad gave me an early birthday present, months early for my Dec 28 birthday of an Apple Watch. Completely by surprise. This is so that I will be twins with my sister Katie who has a matching one (photos coming soon). This WAS the exact kind I had always loved when I saw it but could not afford, and the newest model, with my gold wrist strap to match my jewelry, like OMFG. Yesterday when it arrived, you do not understand the excitement and joy that ensued. That was an INCREDIBLE psychological trick for my Dad to actually surprise me with this completely off time from birthday. He knew that I needed some way to track my heart rate for my workouts. This is ridiculously sentimental to me. I’m dying here with my new best friend on my wrist. It was very generous of him when he is now on a limited budget. You can make it activate to apps by double tapping your fingers, and it responds to your movements by lighting the clock, but only when it’s a godly hour (lol). It tries to help you recognize it’s like bed time and feel not so obligated first thing in the morning haha. It goes on and on (lol). Way more on this later.

This beautiful dress was gifted to me in a Halloween package of many gifts, and the reason I include it here is because this series of gifts from her for Halloween are what started to make me feel like the universe was telling me my birthday had started early :) As a result I started telling that to all my friends, and I received many early birthday gifts as a result !! ))
Gorgeous FORTNUM & MASON truffles, straight from London, England, from Nicky :)) So sweet of him. He was thinking of my birthday when he had recently been visiting London and was interested in finding me a souvenir )) <3 <3
Nicky took me out to birthday brunch and I was very pleased to order the waffles, which were literally mindblowing. As a result, I ended up getting a waffle maker with my Christmas money from my Dad which specifically makes waffles that look exactly like this, along with all the accessories to copy everything in this image :)) (photo by Nicky).
PHLUR hair & body fragrance mist from SEPHORA. I would say this is also my favourite perfume I received from Nicky, along with the Jo Malone London, but this is technically a body spray so it's in a category of its own. Still, it smells like perfume, not some cheesy body spray smell. The fact that it's styled as cream and vanilla is, as far as I understand, a body spray type of scent )) This is my first ever body spray and I'm soooooooo in love with it, completely addicted to spraying my body every day with it. Creams are my favourite sweets, and as we all know, they go amazingly with vanilla to compliment <3 <3 )) :)))))) < ]
Amazing tiger's eye bracelet from Nicky for my birthday early !! )) This really blew me away. I've never owned tiger's eye before but it's a beautiful crystal < ]*
Minimalistic thumb ring from Nicky )) Check the second image to see how it looks ◊ It's actually a hug )) I normally like to show it in pictures even more minimally without the hug part showing and it naturally falls that way, which I love about it <3 ))

Reposted from my instagram : This is such a beautiful present from @keelyestee … 2 of several in a recent package she sent me :)) Because I send her an annual package in the mail, and she got hers from me …. in there I mentioned to her that I want to post more sugar to my instagram - pictures of sweets. It’s been a design plan of mine for a long time. I just can’t believe her amazing response !! She manifested this pretty present for me. Well it was so perfect, cause in my modelling pictures on my main acct @unity.life.mystery.school I always have my little recycled paper with my kiss prints on it. Like I take a recycled tea label of my overprinted labels and digitally remove the tea info and then put on a kiss print sticker up (up visibly in the image), and by this I mean about saving paper for the environment that it’s a love note to the ecology. I mean this because I’m an ecologist as well and I try to integrate everything in what I do, all my art together. It’s like, it’s just a small thing to reuse and recycle but hey every little bit counts ya know? And Keely’s so thoughtful, she knows I’m a model and I have these kiss prints. I mean she thought of me as soon as she saw these! Plus they are gourmet !! They are soooooo goooood. And the STICKER? I LOVE IT SO MUCH. This was a fun process trying to take photos of this in a pretty way - I love how it all came out. I look forward to using these on my main acct to illustrate my ideas.
Yoyoi Solid Perfume from Nicky :)) Nicky really enjoyed giving me this gift as he felt honestly compelled that it's so much fun to try perfume which looks like a lipstick. I must say it's my first time trying this kind, or even finding out about it :)) It doesn't smell that strong, or last very long, but it's definitely a gorgeous scent <3 <3 )) So special !! *
A beautiful pearl bracelet (apparently real pearls?!) from Nicky, and a gold, copper and silver bracelet. The metallic bracelet also came with a matching ring which I've been wearing on my thumb )) It looks the same as the bracelet.
The sweetest, prettiest crystal sphere from Nicky :)) * Unfortunately, Nicky wasn't sure what type of crystal this is. Looking at it, I think it's a geological mix of a couple kinds, I'm not sure :)) I love it <3(sparkles) ...
In light of all the early birthday presents, I decided to start eating birthday treats early for my birthday month this year. One weekend before my birthday I had this in honour of it. On my current diet I can eat something like this once a week, so I usually do weekends.
Another time I went out with Nicky for my birthday it was just a quick visit for a few drinks. I had rosé and some tea and he had a martini )) 🍸🫒🫒🫒🫒
Nicky saved me some beautiful rose pedals from another rose and put them in this sweet gift bag, to compliment the bouquet he got me )) 🥀💐 ... I am taking these, along with the flowers in the bouquet and adding them to my upcoming despacho burnt offering ceremony ❤️ 💖 }} *////
