Vega One and Vega Sport are the two most important foods in my life, and without them my health has always suffered a lot — and I really think other people should consider it. Vega One specifically, because of all the amazing nutrients in it, has been the most essential companion for me. But both have been crucial because of the low calorie protein which allows so much more flexibility and stability in food choices in the day. 

Canadians of lower income have likely heard that they now qualify for the new dental coverage provided by our Liberal government with help of the NDP. But the disappointment always drops when you find out that so many dentists rack the price up way higher than the insurance provides for, meaning that the cost can be just as high as before. Well, not all dentists do that. Some dentists actually keep their prices exactly at the mark of what is covered by the government so that your dental work is 100% free if you have this coverage. One example of this is my dentist, at Mount Pleasant Dental Group in Vancouver, BC, CA. If that's not your area, I highly recommend that you call all the dentists in town asking about this until you find one like mine. 

For anyone who finds their heat bill is getting too high or they simply can’t heat the place enough using the electricity available, I definitely recommend ionic heaters which are 10x more heating than an oil heater but using the same amount of electricity. They start around $150 CAD. They are used in saunas, and have a special technology — they actually heat things from the inside of the object somehow through ionics, rather than radiating heat towards the object. For this reason it’s often used outdoors where it is windy and heat would blow away. In my apartment I simply could not keep things warm enough with heaters in the deep winter, and neither could previous tennants here. But on top of that, I personally am very sensitive to cold, so this was a life saver. The one you see here is around $150 CAD from Amazon, but of course you can get really fancy ones for more expensive which control the amount of heat strength with buttons and remote control. That will be needed if you’re not like me, very tolerant of heat.

So happy to share that in just 2-3 days I have defeated a fruit fly infestation using 70% isopropyl alcohol in a spray bottle. The key is it has to have water in 30% or else the alcohol can’t go deep into their bodies. Fruit flies get so out of control in urban areas like Vancouver where the ecosystem is so out of balance. So the peeps who know, know 🖤. And just FYI, I naturally developed my skill in conserving the alcohol by spraying carefully and also found searching for where they have landed and smushing them increased my results. Getting sprayed by it once will probably kill like 60% of them. Can’t believe it worked for me. So recommended.
