Investigating the Famous Air Mail Article Against Jared Leto

◊πŸ’« To those of you who read my earlier archive, FALSE ALLEGATIONS AGAINST JARED LETO, you may have noticed a missing detail if you’ve had your finger on the pulse of this news topic. That archive was released around July 4th as part of a series about him, alongside celebrations of Jared’s 4th of July–themed documentary.

◊πŸ—ž Unknown to me at the time — something that may have been apparent in my writing — a famous article had been published a month prior in Air Mail. This was followed by summaries in other publications, which collected and elaborated on various allegations against him, causing a viral internet response. At the time, I had only seen some of those summaries and had not yet carefully examined this original Air Mail piece.

◊πŸ«₯ The article was written by Elena Clavarino, a senior editor at Air Mail, a digital magazine founded by former Vanity Fair editor Graydon Carter. And here lies the reason I am writing this second archive : I see an excellent opportunity to reinforce and expand on my point in the original article. My earlier statement — that all of these accusers may not even be real people, while these types of publications may be put down as opinion-based — remains incredibly relevant, perhaps even more so in light of this discovery.

The Fundamental Flaws of Media & News Journalism

◊βš–οΈ While magazines like Air Mail are often treated as reputable purely because they seek to escape slander-lawsuit liability, they are still ultimately opinion-based media outlets, and by no means a substitute for a legal system where evidence is properly accounted for. Journalists do not have the same verification powers as police authorities or courts. For example, they lack the ability to run ID through the system to confirm if it was digitally rendered by AI, which creates enormous gaps in reliability.

Asking Readers to Believe Without Proof

◊πŸ‘€ Air Mail asks us to believe in these accusers without giving us the tools to independently verify their existence. In journalism, that kind of opacity means we, as readers, cannot confirm whether these are real people, whether their ID is legitimate, or whether the accounts were corroborated by real people beyond a shadow of doubt. The point is not to assume they are fakes (or deepfakes), but to recognize that we are being asked to take it entirely on faith. A discerning reader should always pause when presented with unverifiable sources.

◊πŸ”‘ In most cases, the writer, Elena Clavarino, was transparent about weak or incomplete corroboration, leaving us with little more assurance than that she may have collected ID or conducted a Zoom call, both of which may have been fake.

◊πŸš† It is somewhat realistic to imagine that, in one or two cases, the writer may have met accusers in person. That would certainly confirm they are real individuals. Yet this possibility is never made transparent in the article, nor is it necessary for Air Mail’s risk management to disclose how ID was collected or whether meetings were online or in person, therefore it will not happen. Reading the article, what becomes clear is this : the number of credible accusers is completely unclear, potentially narrowed down to only a few — or even just one — if any.

Psychological Resilience Within the Rabbit Hole of Fake News

◊πŸͺžπŸͺ© I share all this not to drag you into a nihilistic meltdown of “maybe nothing is real online,” though I do find such reality checks essential to psychological health and resilience. And “don’t believe everything that you read” remains incredibly poignant today more than ever. The purpose of this Mystery School is to cultivate healing and truth — something rare and precious in today’s world.

Demanding A Gentler & Safer Approach Towards Women

◊πŸ–€ My deeper reason for this argument so far, as a healer, is to avoid the degrading path of publicly analyzing each accuser’s character which is made absolutely necessary not by me, but by Air Mail. A gentler approach toward women is warranted, far more than this article affords them. Publicizing their claims in this way is volatile and extremely high-risk for these hyper-vulnerable and mentally unstable young women.

◊πŸ’” What background details we do get about these women reveal conditions marked by mental instability, severe pre-existing sexual trauma, and commercial pressures which would make them desperate for clout — factors that can distort perception and lend themselves to opportunism. For me, this is not “evidence against them” but against the underlying base assumption that they are not lying. Of course, there are plenty of reasons they might lie, especially about this, and their mental instability makes that seem likely.

◊πŸ’ That’s why the flaws inherent to journalism are so harmful; The Air Mail article is not a reflection on the truth of their position, but on how easily vulnerable people can be insensitively misrepresented or exploited by media.

Rethinking the #BelieveVictims Hashtag & Movement

◊#️⃣ My position on the hashtag and movement #BelieveVictims, which I actively promote on Instagram, encourages deeper listening than simply amplifying any story that is told. It calls for seeking the deeper truth within a false allegation — understanding it as a cry for help. Such a cry often points to other abusers who remain unnamed, protected by systemic pressures that push victims into misidentifying their perpetrators. Frequently, the true violators are the hardest for victims to emotionally name, while ironically, safer and more secure figures — such as gifted artists like Jared Leto — become the symbolic stand-ins. Their artistic presence provides an emotional anchor, and tragically, this sense of safety can become the very place where victims displace their outrage.

◊πŸŽ™ Jared’s music, in particular, creates a sense of permission for outrage and passionate expression against harmful people. By offering an outlet charged with such raw emotional content, he inspires a space where pain can be voiced and trauma can be witnessed with compassion. Unfortunately, this is also why he has been falsely accused by women who, in their suffering, end up striking at the very hand that offers them an artistic vessel for healing.

Air Mail’s Abuse ◊ The Weaponization of Vulnerabillity

◊πŸ”₯ If these are real people, I criticize them only for any demonstrably false statements — not for struggling with mental instability or trauma, nor for living under pressures that might compel them to make these statements for clout, media attention, social status or personal / monetary gain.

◊🧬 The vulnerability and trauma of their backgrounds, while real, also make them unreliable narrators — which is precisely why responsible journalism should give them the safety of space to their own journey and avoid this kind of exploitative, high profile and slanted framing of their voices. It is Air Mail that has placed them in an even higher-risk situation : exposing them to public scrutiny while also obligating those who care about Jared Leto as an artist to now examine their character.

UNITY LIFE ◊ An Artistic Voice Against (Mis)Information Politics

◊πŸ’Ž This archive is motivated not by desire to defend but by responsibility to truth and artistic integrity to my themes against misinformation. For myself, the call to public defense comes from my art. My art is rooted in meditation, discernment, and exposing the difference between information and misinformation. I emphasize truth within ourselves rather than the disempowerment of emotional manipulation, biased framing, or agenda-setting. I hold myself to a standard of logical, ordered reasoning as the foundation of grounded discernment.

Fear, False Authority and Manipulation

◊πŸ‘ “Fear is a liar,” they say. I once saw a Foo Fighters fan wearing a hoodie that read FEAR IS A LIAR — a fitting slogan. But this Air Mail article is more than that. It represents manipulative editorial techniques: false authority dictating who shapes narratives, who is believed, and what the public consumes.

◊πŸ‘Ή Through my work with the traditional healing arts of Ayahuasca, under the guidance of the Shipibo-Conibo of Peru, I have been taught to recognize aggressive emotional manipulation when I see it. The Air Mail article is a prime example. Its stories are carefully curated to confuse, exploit trauma, and push readers into a panic state — where discernment is lost in the emotional chaos of wounded cries for “justice” or easy answers. I say this is only mildly deliberate by Air Mail because it is systemically inherent to the format of journalism.

Recap of AirMail’s Failures

◊πŸ–€πŸ€‘ To recap: the article fails to provide transparency about ID verification or whether any accusers were met in person. At the same time, it bombards the reader with lurid, traumatizing imagery, and frames already vulnerable accusers in ways that place them in even greater danger. On top of that, the article presents Jared’s side only minimally — merely his lawyers’ denials — while indulging heavily in one-sided narratives. Many of these read as immature misinterpretations of his behavior, especially by young people who admit their own cluelessness.

◊🎭 For example, his demeanor at a commercially organized party at his house was painted in a shadowy and suspicious light, with Jared keeping quiet in the back of the crowd, when such behavior on his part appears to be no more than a wise distaste for sycophants, which clearly that party was full of. I doubt that party really was as described, but if it was, I applaud Jared for his discernment, as resistance to sycophantic social-constructs keeps him from having an inflated ego.

◊πŸ“Š Also structurally, the article relies on manipulative editorial techniques. Its point-by-point analysis attempts to establish false authority over what counts as “real information.” This creates the illusion that any rebuttal must follow the same point-by-point breakdown — essentially dragging the defender into shredding each accuser’s character. This is not only degrading, but also a distraction from much deeper and far more relevant truths to this situation — ones that I intend to discuss in future archives about this.

The Dangerous Decontextualization of Manipulative Journalism

◊πŸ” If I strictly followed their format, just breaking down every point with rebuttal, my work would lose quality. It would pull me away from far more valuable insights about the roots of this scandal — how it was fueled by internet misinformation, and how Jared’s art demonstrates that he actually foresaw these attacks. The true enemies here are not young women, but organized systems of exploitation : trafficking, pedophilia networks, and underground crime, which have brought these women into Jared’s life in a disastrous state, like one of them who had just come fresh out of rehab at the young age of 16 (if indeed he ever met that woman). That is where our attention should be.

◊πŸ–€ Too often, the real forces that shape young women’s vulnerability — like trafficking, exploitation, and systemic abuse — are ignored in favor of sensationalizing the confused stories of these unstable individuals.

THIS IS WAR ◊ Information Wars, Technology Wars & Psychological Warfare

◊βš”οΈ Jared often speaks of war in his band 30 Seconds to Mars, like in the album THIS IS WAR and the song Night of the Hunter for example — the secret and unseen real wars actually raging such as information wars, technology wars and psychological warfare. These are the hidden conflicts beneath public appearances, and the weapons of war that we wield within them are integrity, love, truth, and creative expression.

◊πŸ›‘ Sometimes, I take up these wars myself. Today, my war is against Air Mail. I attack them here by showing how UNITY LIFE Mystery School provides more healing, truthful, and culturally valuable resources than anything they could offer. Their popularity has been built by harming people and so the fact that they have so much more readership than I do truly only proves that I have already won this war of virtue against vice.

Though The Battle Is Won, the War Has Only Begun

◊⏳ This Air Mail piece has sparked today’s archive. It is one battle in a long war I will continue to wage — one that strives to heal through creative confrontation of arts. In the future, I will also address the most public accusers, particularly Allie Tielz, who falsely presents herself as an ethical activist.

◊πŸ› But the greatest war I will wage in this series is against systemic abuse: within the church, in society, and across power institutions that perpetuate exploitation. These root causes can and must be mapped out — and I will do so with skill.

◊🌈 Stay tuned to continue on this journey with me — a path of empowerment and love. To be alerted when future archives are released, follow me on Instagram at @unity.life.mystery.school for updates.
