64 CARDS ◊ Ecological Strategies for All Ages & Abilities
The 64 CARDS is a FREE, printable strategy set inspired by the wisdom of nature — each card representing a universal ecological strategy that humans can practice too. Designed for All Ages & Abilities education, the set supports ecological mindset, strategic mindset and pattern literacy aka pattern language recognition. These 64 centering, low-contrast images and the grounding practices that accompany them are rooted in the language of geometry - that which composes the DNA of life itself. Whether used physically or digitally, the cards invite intuitive exploration and connections of co-educational empowerment. A companion to the upcoming UNITY LIFE COLORING BOOK, this set is an inclusive tool for expanding ability — not by labeling difference, but by appreciating our shared capacity to learn and evolve together.

8 SEALS of Visionary Permaculture
Grouped into 8 thematic groups of 8 (8 x 8 = 64), the 64 CARDS form a visionary map of ecological strategy. These '8 SEALS' offer deeper structure and inspiration for study, storytelling, and curriculum building. This is just an example of how you can create your own card groupings, with your own customized themes. Your card groupings can be about any topic at all, and they do not have to involve 8 groups of 8.

SEAL 1 ◊ Visionary Ecology Education
By remodelling the entire educational process to reflect these ecological strategies even as it teaches them (or uses them to teach other subjects) ecological education has reached a visionary level through these 64 CARDS. While all the cards are about this, these 8 cards are the most fundamentally relevant to the educational theme of how exactly to use these cards and what their regular use tends to foster.

SEAL 2 ◊ Mapping and Design
The ecological stewardship of land is a perfect metaphor for that of anything at all, such as your conceptual life, your inner home, or work / creative projects. By using these strategies the careful observation, mapping and documentation of the space you wish to eventually design will lead to much greater success while fostering proper sensitivity and right relations. Recommended research : “Landscape Ecology”

SEAL 3 ◊ Health and Regeneration
The healthiest and most rich, vibrant and high quality foods, medicines and lifestyles are those which are the most ecologically sound. As part of nature ourselves, adding our intention for the harvest while modelling our strategies after nature, and allowing the ecology to work its own wonders by its own design, will offer a quality of life far greater than the standard consumerist marketplace would ever produce.

SEAL 4 ◊ Ecovillage Alternatives
Once the personal practice of living an ecological lifestyle has been developed well enough, many are eventually drawn to sharing resources and land with others who also have the same goals re: sustainability, resilience and ecological harmony & regeneration. To set down deep roots in life is a great undertaking, best done in harmony with nature. Recommended research : “EcoVillages”

SEAL 5 ◊ Urban Resilience
Although the urban environment is considered the opposite of nature, including it within our concept of the ecology is necessary in order to restore, remediate, integrate and heal these challenging spaces. Ecological strategies such as these ones and so many more are less influential and yet more needed within the urban landscape. Recommended research : “Placemaking”.

SEAL 6 ◊ DNA and Ecology
The study of universally relevant strategies of nature brings us from the macro to the micro, to DNA and biology, a topic which is not well understood by science when it comes to how genetics are affected by the outside environment. Ecology is the study of how life forms and places interact with each other and work together as a system. Through the lens of ecological strategy, DNA teaches and is better understood.

SEAL 7 ◊ Society and Culture
When defining large groupings of people on a huge scale, “Society” is the structuring of definition, like shared territory, systems of relating, or institutions. “Culture” is the common beliefs, values, customs, symbols and practices of those defined groups. Although this is a very broad topic, these cards are a poingnant statement about it with a focus on the most ecologically oriented and important / helpful strategies.

SEAL 8 ◊ Ecological Psychology
Ecological psychology is a broad and multidisciplinary field, and each branch has its own series of main teachings. Here, this grouping of cards represents my own holistic statement about ecological psychology in general, especially in context with this set. Recommended additional research : “Deep Psychology” (John Seed, Joanna Macy, Arne Naess), “Systems Thinking”, (Donella Meadows, Joanna Macy, Fritjof Capra).
