EARLY INCEPTION NOTES ⨺ MAY 2022

In May 2022 I was keeping a personal diary, as usual, in which I wrote down my daily reflections. At that time, I was watching the new Star Trek series, Picard. In an early episode, I noticed a sweater worn by Picard which fit into my pattern language study of the media called #diamonds2unitylife. This signalled me that there may be important information within the series that would be reflective of UNITY LIFE Mystery School and supportive to my creative growth. This couldn't have been more true. In episode 3, I discovered a card set which was prominently featured throughout the season which in combination with a 3-layered chess game in Star Trek The Next Generation, would inspire this new prototype for UNITY LIFE. Much more information about those Star Trek games will be provided in another entry. 

I continued to watch the series, and reflect in my diaries in a conversational way, how this was inspiring a new card set. Below are point form notes gathered from those diary entries :


Regarding the pattern language study of diamonds2unitylife, I found connection between this series of instances, and other ones throughout my wealth of studies - specifically The Matrix : Resurrections. The diamonds2unitylife instances within The Matrix have many relations to other ones in the study - it's especially dense with interconnection. In this case, I found the emphasis on simulated realities, holograms, etc to be incredibly significant to this piece between the two studies. 


Another diamonds2unitylife pattern language study that I felt this connected with was a previous handful of Star Trek the Next Generation episodes in which characters play a 3-level chess game in 10-forward. That chess game had already been integrated into the study and contemplated indepth regarding the significance of the numerology of 3. Here I found that this 3 player Romulan card game designed for 3 players, corresponded with that information. I saw connection between the numerology of 3, and that of 9 (3x3), as it corresponds with the numbers 27 and 72 (both multiples of 9), which are prominent to UNITY LIFE numerology. 


It was decided that the new card set would be used mainly as a table game, with a game board mat with places in which you can place your cards, just like the Romulan game. Also, similar to that game, there would be a game-play feature of connecting one triangular card to another with specific choices of relationship. I quickly also decided that piling cards on top of each other in the positions would be my own feature added, to layer meaning of card relationships (one which was not in the Star Trek version). 


In the Romulan game, I noticed that the cards seem to, at least in some part, represent Romulan cultural artifacts which outline strategies of The 64 CARDS ◊ Ecological Strategies for All Ages & Abilities. As well, I found connection with a previous card set that I had graphically designed for Delvin Solkinson, when the two of us were working collaboratively on card sets for Permaculture (ecological design) education quite often. This was called "the elements game" and featured strategic elements commonly placed on the land for gardening or homesteading practices, such as a spiral herb garden as the classic Permaculture gardening techniques. My design at the time for the game involved hexagonal shaped cards, specifically designed so that the cards can easily interlock with each other geometrically to indicate connection between ideas.

Specifically, there was a Romulan card which illustrated a side door for a home. It was explained that in Romulan culture, most houses have a secret side door through which to enter the house, and the normal looking front door is purely ornamental. I associated this with the card 24 ◊  CONTROL which describes commonly practiced strategies which are universally repeated as somewhat of a cultural norm. Fittingly, the card for CONTROL looks exactly like the new cards for the prototype, a single triangle on its own. Looking over other cards which are, less so but still, visually similar to the triangular set, I found that that they related well to the story of my gaining this inspiration from Star Trek : Picard. Specifically these include 26 ◊ BENEFIT - 33 ◊ FOUNDATIONS - 56 ◊ CAPITAL - 34 ◊ STABILITY - and although it looks a little different, I would also add 53 ◊ NEXUS, as that one is also very fitting and somewhat visually similar. 

I felt that the early elements set, concepted by Delvin, would be interesting to remake into something which broke down CONTROL strategies into a more universally applicable format which doesn't limit the cards to any one particular item or cultural feature. The goal was decided to teach archetypes of CONTROL strategy design, in such a way that could be conceptually modelled with any example by the player without being limited to it. I felt this would enhance the player's understandings of design as more educational. My inspiration from the way that these specific cultural features such as the Romulan side door were put into perspective with the CONTROL strategy card made me feel that this kind of versatility would be revolutionary. 

Immediately, this led to the decision to ensure that The 64 CARDS could be played in combination with this set of cards. Simply break out your 64 CARDS and start applying strategies to the game. Of course, I felt that the triangular shape of The 64 CARDS would pile perfectly with these triangles onto the game board card piling process, likely laid underneath the triangular cards unless it was featured for some reason at that moment. 


As I often do with any diamonds2unitylife study, I made attempts at connecting the information in this study with concepts surrounding Kurt Cobain. In correlation with FACET 1(73), the artumentary NIRVANA Kurt Cobain Is Alive ◊ THE 72 RADIANT DIAMOND FACETS OF THE 27 CLUB (IN 144), I explored notions of how a faked death might have been possible by Kurt (in collaboration, of course, with NIRVANA, Courtney Love, and countless others). Already, the idea that simulated realities as a topic provide a beautiful illustration of the surprisingly infinite possibilities of how a faked death could be done. This simulated reality theme which interconnects between The Matrix and Star Trek Picard (as well as the whole Star Trek Universe), seemed perfectly aligned with my interests. I felt that the example of the Romulan secret side door illustrated a classic decoy strategy, one that would have obviously been very prominent within any big scheme like this faked death, in some way or another. I made intentions then to eventually use this card set and the concepts behind it as a template of how I design future UNITY LIFE resources which explore the topic of Kurt Cobain's faked death. That topic is very difficult to speak of, and much more challenging to present through the Mystery School in so many ways, so I felt that this diamonds2unitylife was possibly providing a system which could make that job easier for me someday. 


At the time, I was practicing channelling - a spiritual information gathering technique similar to mediumship, which intuitively gathers spiritual messages of supportive information, commonly from beings of light such as the family of light. One who I often channel the most is Archangel Michael, the messenger Seraphim who is most well known for spiritual communication. Throughout New Age spiritual channelling communities, most people are highly successful at gathering much more clear and indepth information from Michael specifically.

As a previous background to this, I had worked very intensively with Michael to gather ideas for my early prototype set for The 64 CARDS. Michael had guided the movements of my hands in drawing the shapes, while bringing through inspirational downloads about not only the meanings of the geometries, but several features for the premise of the card set which became formally core to the curriculum and how the geometries should be interpreted. 

I continued to channel Archangel Michael during this time, and he offered me his support in working with me on this prototype, and strongly expressed that he felt this would be best done with the most prominent spiritual support from Christ, along with the entire family of light. That said, he offered his specific collaboration with the prototype development, stating that he would prefer if this could have another prototype for this system, which models after the previous one we created in artistic and spiritual ways.

Inspired by Archangel Michael's teachings of working with Christ, and the whole family of light on this, I wrote comedically in my diaries of a comparison between the crew of Star Trek : The Next Generation with the family of light. I imagined Picard as Christ, Riker as the Seraphim, Data as Cherubim, Geordie as God the Father and myself as Dhyanna Troy and also the female doctor with the red hair (whose name I forget right now). I examined classic Star Trek plot scenarios and compared them with spiritual activity of the family of light in higher heavens. 

At the same time, I also channelled Trent Reznor of NIN, hoping that his DNA would create authentic messages to support my process. At the time Trent Reznor was a main fascination for me. Trent offered a joke, in which he commented on the unfavourable numerology of 3 and 9 as being related with death, followed by the punchline revealing that this was a really funny joke, because it would  line right up with the 27 Club numerology of 27 and 72, which would neutralize the negative numerological properties thanks to my art template 🖤🖤😂😂. To me that sounded just like Trent - I don't care if you agree 😂😂. At that point I felt the spiritual presence of the band NIRVANA joining with Trent for the punchline of the joke.

At one point during this process, I felt emotionally insecure about using the actual triangular shape for the set, incase this wouldn't be good enough, as it's only half of my usual diamond shape I've used for every other card set. Archangel Michael thoroughly soothed my worries about this and provided healing energy transmissions of love and good atmosphere, intensely warning me that this was false insecurity. 


I carefully examined the sizing of the cards featured in Star Trek Picard. I studied the question of weather I should offer various card sizing options to provide for various types of practicality and fun of play. While small cards fit well onto a table game with only smaller table space available, I didn't want the cards to be less fun due to being the size of little tokens and easy to lose and misplace from the system. I also prefer larger cards as they are more beautiful to look at, as art objects. So I decided to ensure that the cards would be large enough to comfortably lay out and pile with the hands, but not too large, except for perhaps a deluxe extra large version designed to be played on the floor with an extra large mat. 


It was thoroughly decided to keep this entire plan top secret on all levels until it is much more well developed and I have reached the ideal time of release, to prevent the idea from being maliciously stolen by Delvin Solkinson and his cronies at CoSM Chapel of Sacred Mirrors. The CoSM Chapel of Sacred Mirrors logo is a triangle with an eye in it, created with sacred geometry format, which goes along with artistic sacred geometry podcasts and online resources.

If Delvin would find my idea, as I knew he was stalking me at the time, I felt that him releasing a similar card set in the shape of a triangle before I do would make it seem as though I was just copying him very badly when I release mine. This would mean I would not be able to release it at all because the only thing I had to explain the inspiration behind it was that I was inspired by Star Trek, so it might look like I was copying CoSM. It would make me seem like a person who just copies other shows and artists. I would then humiliate myself in context with Delvin's usual antagonisms. He often criticizes me baselessly as being someone who copies others too much.

That said, I know that once the set was more developed and laid into a more formal template of supportive information about it which cohesively proves that it's an authentic creation, a very natural creative inevitability of the UNITY LIFE Mystery School universe, and at that point it would be safe to release it. This turned out to be so very true now that it is being soon released in prototype form, as part of a FACET of The 72 FACETS (IN 144) which outlines its connection not only with Alchemy, but also with the bands 30 Seconds to Mars (with Jared Leto) and Marilyn Manson.
