Thematic Introduction
At the core of this FACET is the recognition that mass media does not function as a collection of isolated products or personalities, but as interconnected branches of creative ecology. Media forms evolve together in wider relationship with other power institutions and in an ecological system of art and life through these artists. This is shaping and transmitting meaning across communities and networks through patterns that are often sensed before they are consciously named. FACET 6 & 78 ◊ FAMILY approaches this phenomenon not sentimentally, but structurally — treating family as an organic network of inheritance, influence, and embodied continuity.

This FACET presents a growing body of interconnected resources exploring family as lineage, transmission, and shared meaning within the mass media and the other 6 main power institutions or sectors of society as outlined here. It includes a foundational article, a contemplative card system prototype, and an expanding series of related writings and studies (including forthcoming articles examining artists such as 30 Seconds to Mars and Marilyn Manson, among others). Together, these materials form a unified field of inquiry rather than a single, fixed work.
MASTER FACET ARCHIVE
The archive The UNITY LIFE Branch ◊ An Ecology Within the Mass Media establishes the foundational perspective of this FACET by examining mass media as a living ecosystem of interconnected creative lineages rather than a collection of isolated works or personalities. It maps how artists, bands, films, fashion, and other media forms operate within shared branches—co-creative fields that evolve together across sociological categories and generations, stabilizing and circulating meaning through mass transmission. Rather than defining family through sentiment or identity, the Master Archive frames it as lineage: a continuity of shared symbols, values, and creative intelligence that persists through time. In doing so, it provides the conceptual ground upon which the other resources in this FACET are built, offering the perspective needed to engage the card system, companion studies, and future archives as parts of a single, coherent field of meaning.

The 7 of 9 SOLVE COAGULA Mind Map System (Prototype) : This card system extends this inquiry into a hands-on contemplative tool. Structured around the seven stages of laboratory alchemy and the seven major institutions of society, the system places particular emphasis on the mass media as a site of coagulation — the stage where insight, culture, and lineage become stabilized, visible, and transmissible. Within the system, the mass media is given greater structural weight. In this way, the system reflects how family, in its deepest sense, is not confined to biology or intimacy, but lives through shared symbols, stories, and forms that persist over time.
EXPANDING ARCHIVES
A series of UNITY LIFE Archives preceding and extending from one : The Simulated Alchemy of Jared Leto in 30STM & Tron : Ares : This FACET also includes a growing series of interconnected UNITY LIFE Archives that explore how family, lineage, and symbolic transmission unfold within the mass media through specific artists, works, and lived experiences. These writings examine themes such as alchemy, simulation, embodiment, and mirroring across film, music, dreams, and visual symbolism — most notably through studies of 30 Seconds to Mars, TRON, and Marilyn Manson. Rather than functioning as isolated analyses, each archive enters the same contemplative field, tracing how meaning emerges through resonance over time, often revealing connections only after they have already been lived. Together, these expanding studies document an evolving family of symbols and insights, forming an open lineage that continues to develop alongside the FACET itself.
In Celebration of Marilyn Manson & Jared Leto's Lives
FACET 6 & 78 ◊ FAMILY is designed to remain open and expandable. Each year, as a celebration of Jared Leto's December 26th birthday and Marilyn Manson's on January 5th (aka 15), this FACET will be honoured with some kind of polish, celebration or addition. At any time, new articles, studies, and artistic explorations are added. These are not meant to stand apart, but to enter the same lineage, deepening the contemplative field established here. Each resource contributes another element to an ongoing family portrait, as illustrated by the mirroring of Jared and Manson — one that invites reflection, pattern recognition, and participation rather than conclusion.
