In Honour of Courtney Love's Contributions
In celebration of Kurt Cobain's 59th birthday — February 20th, 2026 — I've prepared the following announcement of future plans for FACET 2(74) ◊ RESONANCE : Long ago, this FACET was quietly dedicated to the theme of how Courtney Love has played such an important role in support of Kurt Cobain and NIRVANA, in context with the information offered in FACET 1(73) ◊ ORIGINAL. This FACET has long been planned to serve as something of a Chapter 2 of the free PDF document found at the F.1(73) page and this link which is also in video format on YouTube. It has been intended as a very direct build quite specifically from it, like reading the next chapter of a book. Of course, it will explore other artists aside from Courtney Love indepth, especially NIRVANA (and perhaps others too), but in such a way which supports her as the main topic.
Right now, my main plan is to focus on the lyrics of the Hole album My Body My Hand Grenade — which is interconnected with other Hole albums. That said, throughout the process of planning and creating it, I'm sure I'll find more gems that really seem to fit with my message, along the way. I haven't, so far, felt like it was the strategic ideal time to work on this FACET yet for many reasons.
Also, it so happens that Courtney has returned from hiatus on social media now to promote a new documentary about herself (Antiheroine, Sundance Film Festival). She's also curated a groundbreaking photography exhibition (From Her To Eternity : The Women Who Photograph Music). Plus — likely in 2026 — she will be releasing a new memoir and a new upcoming solo album. Based on all this, I'm sure that I might find treasures in the upcoming releases which are best to look at in this FACET. So, to allow proper timing and preparation, this project is not yet a priority.
