I had some wonderful new savory waffles to add to these two photography asset banks, but added them both in a low energy way. In FOOD & DRINK I've stopped doing cute captions and individual slideshows for each pretty meal. I know it's less impressive to just put it up as a photo gallery, but if I do that it will paginate the photos and I realize now that's crucial. The page cannot be paginated manually and without that, I now recognize that it will cause slow loading. I could do a blog instead of just a photo gallery, but the thing is too, I've been too busy lately to really polish all these things to perfection with captions for each. Besides, with a blog, you have to click into it to see the other photos, as opposed to a slideshow which I was using before, so it seems also more demanding for the user as well. That's alright.
So now it's just without captions from now on for food and drink, unless I change my mind at some point. The thing I figured is that someday, once there's tons on there, I might feel like organizing them into categories and making a blog of food and drink categories with at least a bit of captioning there just about that category of food. I mean it's fun. There's low budget and high budget meals, meals cooked by loved ones, meals from the garden. I might someday do that. Same thing with the waffles eventually. But for now just piling them up and collecting.
