◊🔥🔥 Visually, the two music videos are both in a High School where arson takes place with fire, filling everything with smoke.
◊👯♂️👯♂️ Simultaneously, black-clad cheerleaders dance like on the film “American Beauty”, while shady things about the school are implied.
◊☁️☁️ The smoke is the key to the lyrical connection. The specific respiratory anatomy associated with both scent (The “smells like” song title) and suffocation (the first verse of The Fight Song) is also the same as the physical response to smoke.
