seemingly complicated yeast and BV infection

Increasingly over the past days I've been noticing some vaginal itching which is always my sign to take fluconazole. I usually suffer with some candida imbalance issues and get prone to yeast infections, as a side effect of past runs of antibiotics. I've gotten accustomed to using fluconazole, an over the counter anti-fungal pill, regularly. This time, I kinda ignored the itching a bit for a few days cause I was tight on money for fluconazole and a bit forgetful at the store even if I had the chance.

Then yesterday and today, the itching started getting really severe. I assumed it was a yeast infection, so last night I put on antifungal cream for it since it was really getting bad now, and I noticed that didn't work. I also got a digestive problem which I could tell was a sign of bacterial overgrowth in the gut (from experience). The next day the cream continued to not help, and I noticed grey discharge — a sign of BV (Bacterial Vaginosis). I had been curious about the discharge and smelled it because if it has a fishy odor, that's a sure sign of BV. There was no fishy odor, and that odor is usually very strong and noticeable.

In my research I found that it's rare, but sometimes BV can come up without the fishy smell. So I decided to use a vaginal PH strip test and it came out at a 6 or a 6.5 PH, which is a sign of BV. I talked to ChatGPT about it and he said that it seems the itching is probably from a yeast infection and the grey discharge is from the BV so it's likely both at once. Or else there's just an odd chance that this is a rare case of BV causing vaginal itching, which it sometimes does but not that often. And it could be an STD called trich but I I don't think so because of my sexual safety.

One time I did have a very itchy case of BV and it was also in combination with yeast infection. That happened after a hardcore dose of antibiotics which was probably overdosed by accident at the time, and this was over a year ago surrounding dental issues. I remember it was super obvious then just as it is now, that somehow the itching was intensified by the BV. At the time, that seemed to cause a longterm chronic BV issue and that's why I bought the PH strips. I fought it over many, many months by constantly buying over the counter inserts to help my vaginal PH and I finally succeeded eventually. I recently tested my vaginal PH and it was totally normal, just as it had been months earlier since I won this battle.

I've taken a fluconazole, so now my mission will just be to get treated for BV asap. I think I might try an over the counter solution tonight even though that's less powerful than antibiotics. I am always trying to avoid antibiotics, but it looks like I should quickly get a prescription online because this is a severe case.

I'll update this post to let you know how it goes. The thing is, just last night I was thinking about all the physical miracles I've been having lately and I thought about how I've had such a tendency towards candida imbalance and thrush for such a long time, and fought it so much with my doctor prescribing higher doses of fluconazole and everything — and it would make sense for a miracle to arrive to finally beat that longterm imbalance. I thought "That's one vision I'm holding for the upcoming miracles"

Now that this is all crazy with BV, I wonder if it will cause a miraculous revolution. I think some feminists have always said the greatest revolutions in the world could be the vagina.
