◊ You know, I had two major roles in acting — one as a child and one at age 21. Both hugely impacted me for life. In both I was cast as a prostitute in the role. As a child it was for a church pageant about a small child prostitute slave in the Bible who was trying to escape while being transported as cargo, and it was the 80’s and I was the star of the musical as the minister’s daughter of the church (lol). With a really cute ponytail and neon makeup (lol).
◊ The second was in a spiritual community in Avalon (UK) — again, the role was just handed to me. I played the prostitute that the King, the husband of the Goddess / Queen Inanna, was caught cheating with just before she went into a violent rage triggered by that — and descended into the underworld. The play was called The Fall of Inanna”, and everyone told me that the archetype of the prostitute is sacred. It was an incredibly hyper-spiritual community. It’s a big thing to practice a full play in totally spiritual activations for months getting into it as a spiritual journey (lol).
◊ I’ve been very familliar with spiritual communities that believe in the sacred order of Mary Magdalene and I’m fully informed on the views. As an archetype etc etc, I do not at all personally identify with the Magdalene way. And I was absolutely blown away by J.J. Hurtak’s Gospel of Mary Magdalene — a translation he provided from Aramaic with his own special liner notes to inform more deeply on these lost scriptures. The most interesting part being that Hurtak asserts that she did not have sex with Jesus, and she was not a “sinner”.
◊ It’s really so fascinating to look at it from Hurtak’s perspective as a double PhD theologian saying that. He’s not just being saucy — he really has a deep point about the severity and gravity and seriousness of the time, that in our modern world is so forgotten and ignored with that story. I’m sure he’s not rude assuming people mean it disrespectfully to Magdalene if they feel she was Jesus’ lover, on some level, but just thinking about the possibility that they did not have sex really is mindblowing and I offer that as a fascinating point. I could really go on and on about this topic.
