Since The 7 of 9 began, I've been constantly brainstorming and studying what might work best for a format that could make the full system sellable at a reasonable price (ideally without loss of quality) — while also crystalizing the format for plates such as you see here which can also be sold individually as stickers, cards, books etc etc in The UNITY LIFE Shop. It's comforting to know that since these plates are needed as visual tools for online communication of the system, there's no excuse not to constantly invest in a tiny startup business of a small-scale, grassroots sticker store etc while I'm at it — but the larger vision remains much more lofty. Since my ideas are always evolving, I thought I'd continually refine this post here as the place where I keep updating my experiments and plans, along with a call for funding to keep fuelling this creative process. After receiving an unsolicited art grant at one point for The 7 of 9, I've been very inspired to always keep in mind that I should be forward about my needs — rather than keep them tucked away in little pockets and personal blogs. With my personal budget so tight always, I'm very interested in a little help here and there, even if small. So read on if you are curious about what experiments are next for The 7 of 9 — keeping in mind, these creations will be the model for all other UNITY LIFE visual resources eventually.
7 of 9 Production Format Experimentation
From experience, I've learned that speed of production will be the key to making The 7 of 9 affordable to buy as a full system. The cost of materials has become fairly meaningless when compared to time. I've estimated the cost of the 144 card system in the format I'm using for the plates at around $11,000 — and I will be putting each set up for sale — but obviously there is a desperate need to lower the price if this will become generally accessible. In order to do this, it will be necessary to experiment with other tools and materials. I have an Amazon Wish List to share, — which is pretty much in flux and more of a vague dreamboard right now as I perfect my ideas — and here is the link to my blades and cutting mats, which do need to be occasionally replaced. This gives a very approximate notion of the amount of support I could use for this which is likely in the hundreds. Below, I'm detailing my latest experimentation ideas below.
My Personal Image & The 7 of 9
I know this is totally unorthodox, but I've actually taken it seriously that a budget for things like prettying myself up is literally a part of The 7 of 9 budget. That's because I'm the spokesperson for the entire UNITY LIFE platform which backs it up, so the more magnetic I am to people just at a quick surface read — when they are randomly exploring online — the more The 7 of 9 can attract and inspire the community. As a free online fascination piece with materials always coming out about it, there's so much magical potential for how it could contribute to the communities where I'm promoting it. I also think that becoming much more financially stable overall is a part of it too — and that's another surprisingly important part of my image because the more comfortable and at peace I am in my life, the better of a job I do at everything. I actually do believe that anyone serious about supporting The 7 of 9 financially should consider these matters as crucial to the project. In fact, wild story, but the anonymous funder who provided The 7 of 9 art grant I mentioned also went on to provide another $500 after the first grant, which I literally spent on a hair appointment. I know it sounds like I was misbehaving to spend it on that, but if you read the full story of what all went down, you'll realize it's quite the opposite. The story is actually riveting.
Seeing Myself As An Intermedia Art Consultant
Most importantly to my image, I invision myself in a new line of work as a visionary & psychedelic intermedia art consultant. I would call this a consultancy — rather than me just being a consultant — because we would be aiming to influence each other both ways. As a product of our dynamic consultations, I would provide artwork along the lines of UNITY LIFE resources which may or may not be featured here on this website. Ironically, I see myself as even more valuable as a consultant than a producer of artistic products. But keep in mind, there are only certain groups I'd be interested in working with, of course. Now, this might sound shockingly ambitious, but if there's one area I've never failed in, it's dreaming big. The only groups I'd be interested in working with are my absolute favourite stars, the artists featured here on UNITY LIFE. There are so many favourites I would love to be hired by in this capacity, but I've currently set my sights on Jared Leto and his band 30 Seconds To Mars as the most likely to take me up on the offer, therefore the strategic ideal to focus on for me right now.
Glammy Beauty Dreamboard
Coming back to the dream to continue enhancing my physical appearance as part of my image. There's a lot more I'd love to write about when it comes to my longterm goals. Again, it's just a matter of time before I'm able to do that. As a hint about what it will be, I'm thinking of discussing The 16 KEYS aka KEYS ⨺ 16(32) to explain myself. But in the mean time, the upcoming information which will be soon found at 16(2) — a mythological story of The 16 KEYS which explains their ordering — should definitely provide a lot in this direction of thought. But for now, some of my immediate hopes for the future include rainbow highlights for my hair, which might cost $500 if done professionally. Plus you know, maintaining the hair I have will require the occasional hair appointment anyway. Plus braces. And there are also two tattoo dreams to start off the many tattoos I want. One of these is a 30STM tattoo, and just so happens to coincide with the cult-like fad of getting MARS tattoos which is promoted by the band and common in the Echelon (the term for their fanbase). The other is a smaller tattoo for the side of my head.
