I have a very special plan for the tattoos I want on my hands and arms. It will be very costly to do my arms too if I do them at once, and I could do them separately, but I've always thought I wanted to do the whole arm when I do each hand, and rush forward iwth the other arm and hand soon when I do it. The one hand tattoo will feel so incomplete without the other.
Always for my arms, I've wanted two variations of the same design, serpents with flowers, on my two arms and hands. But on the hands there will be special symbols which are the central image. On my right arm, it will be more focused on flowers, on the left arm, more focused on the serpent. On both arms, one large serpent. But if for the hands there needs it to be like it's another smaller serpent there for the sake of visual interest, not just a continuation of a large serpent, no worries. The exact type of serpent can be refined closer to the time with the designer but I'm thinking the most important thing is that it looks balanced and visually harmonious, then also it would be sick if we could work from inspirations of Pablo Amaringo's famous anaconda paintings. There are some fantastic anacondas to choose from. I would like the kind with a rounded mouth and rounded tongue unlike what you see of serpents' tongues usually, with no sharp teeth.
Which kind of flowers? I think it will be the typical tattoo artist flowers with no other specification because of what looks best. The species, I forget what it's called, but you can see them at Green Tiger Tattoos like this one kinda. Like the link I gave you is not exactly, but I like the kind with ruffles around the edgs more, although his smoother pedals are also gorgeous. I'm not totally sure, smooth pedals or ruffles? Would the black lines be too much with ruffled edges? It's just for pretty looks why I would have those types of flowers.
The symbols I want to get on the left and right hands are two triangular symbols, each pointing opposite ways. The triangle on the right will be my MARS tattoo, which is the silver (second image) here. The other one will be the first image, the gold.
The ultimate goal is to have rainbow tattoos all over my body which create an overall spectrum of rainbow color which extends all over, so the concept will be to emphasize color, making whatever color of that spectrum gradient into the darker and lighter tones of shading, or use the grey to shade in color, aiming to keep it as bright as I can but also have black outlines I think. I haven't consulted with Tony yet about these which is why I don't yet know the exact shading techniques but he specializes in color and outlines.
On the left hand, I've decided to have a kiss print as a background to the COAGULA symbol, to symbolize when Dita Von Teese signed my hand with a kiss print. To me this symbolizes Marilyn Manson on that left hand, and Jared Leto / 30STM on the right hand, but as per the symbolism of the SOLVE and COAGULA (these two triangular symbols), they are so interconnected that it will seem that both hands are both MM and MARS. Dita Von Teese to me is interchangeable and synonymous entirely with Marilyn Manson. I don't see her as separate from him. This is not Dita instead of Manson or Manson instead of Dita. The same is true in my mind of Kurt Cobain and Jared Leto, so this is my Kurt Cobain and Jared Leto as one for my MARS tattoo of the SOLVE. But I know neither is satisfied if it's not both hands representing both of them and I really think the SOLVE COAGULA accomplishes that.
Again just to review, on the left hand there will be a kiss print shape, the triangular symbol, and I hope ideally also flowers with some type of serpent element. But that might be too busy to fully accomplish so much stuff in the design, so I'm comfortable having less serpent and flower if the design in the forefront needs to have more emphasis. I just think that it can be like flowers around it all and serpent across the fingers.
My ideal would be to have pink on one hand and blue on the other, a lighter more neon kinda coloring. But I will accept red and purple instead to work into this rainbow, if Tony thinks it would take better and last longer as a color by far. But the thing is, I would like to make an exception and do pink and blue on the hands only even though that doesn't fit into the rainbows that well overall, cause hands are so special. So if Tony thinks those colors are practical, we can do it. He probably will.
