Some photos of my personal wall altar on which Marilyn Manson's statue is featured, among his wife Lindsay, the family of light and Christ Figures of the media, surrounding Archangel incense packs.
◊🕯 My new wall altar (see photo gallery) is coming along, and I want to take this opportunity to explain this first image of a powerful, even life-changing statue that was released through the Marilyn Manson store. This 3D rendering is based on the album art of HOLY WOOD, which depicts a more brutal crucifixion of Christ than the Bible documents — his jaw having been violently removed. To me, this event clearly did not occur, and if it had, it would have been written about in scripture, which is detailed about the events. But the powerful question Manson poses with this artwork is : why not? And what miracle prevented this from happening?
◊🖤 Considering the extreme degradation of the situation, why was Christ allowed to speak, to give sermons from the cross? Knowing the mentality of abuse present at that time, and the high-profile reasoning behind his crucifixion, it is surprising that his torture was not even more monstrous.
◊🤬 In fact, the one reason they likely did not remove his jaw is because the blood loss would have caused his death too soon, cutting short their plan to draw it out for three days. Yet that only sharpens the question : why did they not gag him, if their aim in crucifying him was to silence his voice and prevent his teachings from being heard? They were more than capable of such brutality. And with the crown of thorns, they had already made clear that Jesus was to be treated in a unique and extreme way.
◊🔥 To me, this is exactly the mystical point Manson was making with the HOLY WOOD artwork. By showing Christ with his jaw violently removed, he presented the most graphic and viscerally confronting picture of the silencing of Christ’s voice — a shocking heavy-metal visual meant to theme in with the goth / industrial / metal art and its aesthetic of triggering imagery. But beneath that artistic exaggeration lies the same essential question : Why was Christ not silenced?
◊🎙 And in this light, the image becomes deeply personal to Manson himself. As a vocal artist and outspoken figure, his voice has always been his greatest power, and the threat of having it symbolically “removed” touches the very core of his being. That's why this intensely disturbing image is fitting to the emotion of the topic which Manson generously teaches of.
◊🧬🕊 By meditating on the hardest times in my life, studying when exactly things had shifted for the better — or when divine intervention seemed to repair my situation — I have been able to perceive that threats, as opposed to just blessings, triggered divine protection. These potential outcomes — cascading, worsening events which were prevented, revealed a mystic divine order about some things which will never happen to me. I once assumed anything could be healed, in youthful optimism, but I have since realized that some things, whether in personal history or collectively, could only be repaired through adaptations so severe they would fundamentally alter the course of reality at a level far more profoundly altering. In order to guarantee certain outcomes, some things needed to be stopped.
◊🌿 Yet it is still awe-inspiring what healing is possible in this life. I feel deeply fortunate that my path with Ayahuasca has granted me some of the most potent insights into the nature of reality and its healing potential. And through all that beautiful insight, I have also understood the depth of what is technically irreparable without changing the past — something better not done (at least not too much). Even so, reframing the past alone can be so transformative, it can feel miraculous. Even reframing sometimes feels like it has actually changed the past.
◊🔥 This statue was the perfect piece for Marilyn Manson to release during the time when he was “cancelled,” dropped by his label, and seemingly silenced. It was made for the fans, who were witnessing a fabrication staged before their eyes as though it were real : the horror show of Christ supposedly silenced, his jaw metaphorically removed brutally, his voice taken in such a way that falsely appeared permanent. This dramatic statue is also a candle holder for a red candle, its wax running like tears of blood, symbolizing the pain of his fans as they waited for his return — a return which came with the new album, One Assassination Under God Ch.1. Yet it also asks : what power actually worked to protect him?
◊🕊 When I saw the statue, I experienced it as a symbol of hope — that his voice would be heard again soon. I hoped other fans would feel the same. In the same way, the painting of Jesus on the cross without his jaw, on the cover of HOLY WOOD, became for me a visionary symbol of Christ’s power : a higher divine order that is more present in the darkest of situations than most people can perceive.
◊✝️ Today, I want to share my opinion of what truly happened on the cross. I believe the crucifixion occurred, but that it was entirely a simulated reality — Jesus was not tortured physically at all. That, to me, is not only the love of God, but also the mastery of Jesus Christ, whose wisdom embodied self-preservation and self-love as the highest good. He manifested bread, fish, wine, and even a coin out of thin air. What other miracles was he capable of in secret? Perhaps the greatest was this : tricking his enemies into thinking they had crucified him, while in truth he went free.
◊💎 In that light, his words — “I have died on the cross so that you don’t have to” — strike me as a warning or even a disclaimer. Since most people do not understand that the crucifixion was illusion and not physical reality, Christ urges us never to place ourselves in harm’s way as if to imitate him.
◊🌞 To me, this secret of the crucifixion explains both the severity permitted and the merciful limit of harm in the divine order surrounding Jesus’ body. Why would “God,” “Christ,” or call it what you will … perhaps the underpinnings of creation or the conscious and aware, universal and primordial nature of reality … allow so much violation while also creating firm boundaries against it? The answer, I feel, lies in the nature of the wound itself :

◊👁 For Christ, there was no true injury — the pain existed only in perception, outside of him. But in that appearance, in the crucifixion as a false image of both Christ and God, the deepest hurt took place, a vast collective psychic wound that has haunted humanity ever since. To even imagine such horror is for so many to suffer it in spirit, often so much more than we realize. And yet, the fact that Christ remained untouched in truth reveals the miraculous healing love at the heart of creation.
◊🖤 The same is true of Marilyn Manson’s so-called “cancellation.” Misinformation spread, a false image of his assassination circulated, and fans grieved the loss of an icon. Yet behind the headlines, like Christ, he remained powerful and strategic — self-preserving, secretive, and attuned to the deeper forces that govern this world. His greatest secrets of empowerment and freedom could not be revealed all at once. At the same time, the harm inflicted on the community was carefully bounded. As shown in The MMII ◊ Marilyn Manson Is Innocent, a video defending him on this website, the scandal was doctored by both Manson and his accusers to include a vast series of accessible rebuttals, giving fans the tools to shield themselves during this difficult period.
◊🎶 This is one of many reasons why Marilyn Manson, in statue form, has earned a place on my altar to symbolize Christ, alongside other Christ Figures who embody the mastery and mysticism of Christ through art, music, and so much more.
Love, Ba
