LEMONBALM SYNCHR0AWAKENING )))))) 💚🌿
Herbalist Education with Sajah Popham of The School of Evolutionary Herbalism
I want to share an incredible story with you. After nurturing a garden of very tall and abundant lemonbalm and making plans to harvest it today, I was greeted with this incredible video from Sajah Popham of Evolutionary Herbalism.
Amazingly, I was able to watch this excellent teaching on the plant’s medicinal properties from my favourite herbalist - the greatest master herbalist I’ve encountered.- while drinking homemade lemonbalm tea that I had made myself, right after posting photos of the tea all packed and labelled with my beautiful new labelling that I designed. This couldn’t have been more fitting today, as I’ve been suffering with heightened anxiety in the last few days due to an immune response to an infection I’m working with the doctor about atm. As I drank the tea and watched this video, I noticed the medicinal effects as the plant nursed me through my digestion of dinner, while cooling my system by calming the nervous system in a plesaant and non-drowsy way. It was delicious too.
Sajah Popham was the herbalist I was almost most immediately drawn to, and I deeply enjoyed his course that comes with his book which is entitled Evolutionary Herbalism. You buy the book, and inside is the information to take the free companion course online. The book was geniusly written, with explosively relevant (to my work) information about plant relationships and medicinal harmonies, as well as about reductionism in the pharmaceutical and medical sector, which wound up deeply influencing my documentary, specificially FACET 1(73) of NIRVANA #KurtCobainIsAlive found a http://linktr.ee/unity.life.mystery.school and http://unitylife.univer.se . Not only has Sajah taught me so much about herbalism, as I constantly explore his incredible video blogs and courses, but he has actually been instrumental to my breakdown about reductionism in that video. I used his introduction to reductionism as a springboard, and I provided a breakdown about how the song Scentless Apprentice by NIRVANA, has been a manifesto against reductionism at its finest, containing the codes of Kurt’s secret that he is alive in Peru, living as a plant medicine healer.
There’s probably few people I know who couldn’t benefit from a little lemonbalm tea to cool anxiety, as this is such a common ailment. But just taking a quick look at the Evolutionary Herbalism YouTube channel (not to mention their INCREDIBLE WEBSITE at www.evolutionaryherbalism.com ) will provide videos of this amazing quality for countless plants, and professional herbalist analyses of common ailments, also with recipes for food and alcoholic beverages to compliment the teas and tinctures recommended. Additionally, Evolutionary Herbalism has also come out with their own incredible quality, frequently biodynamic and extremely ethically and geniusly well formulated spagyrics medicine catalogue, at www.naturasophiaspagyrics.com where you can actually find out their ingredients lists to learn what kinds of plant combinations go together well for certain purposes, or just buy from these incredible producers!
If you’re interested in learning a little about herbalism in your life, perhaps you’ll subscribe to their newsletter where they offer their blog and videos regularly, or perhaps if you have time for a book, you’ll order Sajah’s book Evolutionary Herbalism to take the free course in it. Whatever you wind up doing, I just can’t express how much it has meant to me to work with this incredibly accessible and foundational herbalism study resource, and I love the idea that I could pass this on to my friends.
Love, Ba
