I have a doctor visit today to investigate a large lump around my ceces which is lower intensinal area like by my hip. The lump has been about the size of my palm and back when I was much thinner, it was much more visible but mainly when I was lying down. When standing it would be arguable that there's any difference between the right or left side. But it's now nearly impossible to see, which I'm pretty sure is because of fat covering it up. Although the reason I mentioned it to my doctor is because it's started hurting lately whenever I've eaten bready foods. It's a pretty mild pain but obviously right in that spot, and the pain comes and goes. The lump would come and go over days, like would be there for a couple days after I ate a lot and would slowly subside after that ... usually coming up just at the time when I had eaten bready foods like pizza or donuts or just eaten a lot. It turns out from my doctor test that I'm not gluten intolerant, at least nothing severe like celiac's disease. Also my iron levels are still good just like before so as for my fatigue I guess that's not what's causing it. But I have cut out artificial sweeteners from my diet because I worry that had been causing inflammation to my gut making this lump worse. But all those things said, knowing I've had gut inflammation as an issue, still a lump like this is not normal when it keeps coming back in the same spot. So it could a hernia, which it's probably a small one if so, but there's other possibilities. To me it doesn't seem like a fatty deposit there, it seems hard like inside my digestive, but they will look incase it's a fat deposit. My doctor will decide today if she needs to do an imaging on it now, or if it can wait unless the pain or visibility of the lump gets worse or returns.
