Regarding my last bunch of posts — sadly, it seems that the antibiotics were not enough and the abscess is already flaring up again. I noticed it today and my doctor can't see me for 2 weeks so while it's in an early stage, I'm going to go to the semi-emergent care clinic. It's something in between the ER and a walk-in doctor's clinic, where they can make assessments of this nature. Thankfully it's very close to me, but in order to get in it's necessary to be there at 7am to get in line. That's an hour before it opens. I will likely be waiting there all day. But I still think it's better than going to ER cause it's a much nicer place to wait. I don't know if they will drain the abscess or just give me antibiotics, but I'm guessing maybe antibiotics. We'll see. I'll update this post with what happens there when it's over. For now, better get to bed early cause I have to be up at 5am.
