eyelids almost all healed (re: previous post)

I had mentioned in my previous post that I had a couple skin issues that were creating a problem for me being able to look done up and presentable. One was damaged and very red and sore eyelids, and the other was a returning acne issue. During the whole long crisis in which I was moving towards my second ER visit and the surgery, I had no pressure to have makeup on because I was not able to work, so I took that opportunity to baby my eyes with oil. I was already sure I had no choice anyway. I continued the oil and no other things on it the whole time in before and during the hospital and in recovery afterwards and this really seems to have worked. It was a funny moment after the surgery when I realized that a tiny bit of the delicate skin from my slowly healing eyelids had been rubbed off, revealing stingy and red skin underneath (lol). I laughed and wondered if my surgeon had rested sae's elbow on my eye by accident or something haha. But it was only small, and thankfully the eyelids are now almost entirely healed so I'll be fine wearing makeup and looking normal again very soon.

About the acne too, I think the antibiotics I was on really cleared that over the last while. But I'm very curious because I've been getting gut inflammation for several months if that's been the cause of the acne recurring after for so long it was healed by accutane. I'd like to watch and see if perhaps my ongoing work on the gut inflammation might get the acne to clear. I mean one thing I've done for gut inflammation that has been working slowly over the past month ish or more, was quit any artificial sweeteners, and that's been great. So I don't know, I'll continue to think it through. It will be a while before I can really get around to discussing it with doctors yet.
