I just wanted to leave a note here to mention that I've started up with some formal writings — writings designed as a product for a broader audience through UNITY LIFE — from the insights gained out of this blog. I'm still in process with formulating everything but I've gotten a start on it now.
I started by writing this entry in The UNITY LIFE Integration section. The second section of the entry describes some of my breakthroughs lately, since the last entry here. It's designed to be linked to from the TIMELINE ://A\\rc)}’Hi\\V//e: ⨺ JARED & SHANNON LETO ◊ 30 SECONDS TO MARS which seeks to honestly document the larger context of all our interactions. In that piece, I felt vulnerable speaking of witchcraft or sorcery from CoSM without a proper explanation of the wisdom and background that I'm coming from with Ayahuasca to address those kinds of perspectives on mental phenomenon.
So, to begin in the process of resolving that, I created a gorgeous new UNITY LIFE Archive called BRUJERÍA ◊ THE AYAHUASCA MEDICINE TEACHINGS OF HARMFUL PERCEPTIONS. Here's a preview from that :
◊🔑🧬 What if psychological distress is not always understood correctly when viewed exclusively through an internal lens? The Shipibo-Conibo medicine traditions of Peru offer a relational model of psychological distress that can provide valuable insight into intrusive thoughts, harmful influences, and personal healing, while remaining distinct from the assumption that all suffering originates either entirely inside or entirely outside ourselves.
◊🧬🌈🖤 In this archive, I explore these teachings through a combination of traditional medicine perspectives, personal experiences, cultural examples, and reflections from my own training as an Ayahuasqera healer. Along the way, I examine the traditional concept of brujería (black magic or sorcery), stories from the Amazon, the role of awareness and meditation — and how these teachings gradually transformed my understanding of intrusive thoughts and mental health.
In that archive, I really wanted to perhaps use the opportunity to outline CoSM as the source of a type of sorcery which lies outside of the Ayahuasca ceremony context. I had explained the whole concept that it could happen so well, and gotten all the way to the part that makes sense to say this, but a few things stopped me. 1) I worried the archive might already be super long and I loved how it seemed to wrap up naturally where I left off, 2) I found it ideal to not make the archive seem totally centred around specific allegations as the main central point, 3) I thought perhaps my story about CoSM is longer than just a piece to fit into this archive as an extra story, since it has many elements, and 4) I still felt pretty vulnerable, pained and mid-process about some of the issues lately with this big problem coming to a head.
But I was left with a bit of concern, thinking still that this archive really serves to back up my allegations against CoSM. It's a great tool for explaining where I'm coming from. So I decided to consider just making an ://A\\rc)}’Hi\\V//e: later about the process with CoSM, which has other UNITY LIFE Archives linked powerfully as headliners within it (and this can be one of them). I think it would be a little something about Jared Leto in that piece, just explaining how all this process coincided with my defence of his innocence, and how process surrounding my thoughts of him lead to realizing the importance of these revelations. I decided for now I could just follow the creative track I'm on of just integrating this archive into the Timeline ://A\\rc)}’Hi\\V//e: for 30STM and seeing how it fits, then potentially come back to the integrations piece and address how this information seemed missing from that story.
Right now, I did want to be working on The 16 KEYS rather than writing huge new UNITY LIFE Branch Archives. I had put the Archive on the back burner to specialize in visual arts for a time. But the extreme difficulties I've been going through from CoSM have forced me to explore this problem so significantly here in these unedited rants that I've found I have no choice but to clarify and refine my statements for the front end, for my own protection and everyone's best interest. That said, I totally comforted myself happily by how well this served to support the Timeline ://A\\rc)}’Hi\\V//e: for 30STM. At least it's nice to have another customized UNITY LIFE Archive to add to the series. This ://A\\rc)}’Hi\\V//e: really has a lot of great stuff like that, and this is the second time I've managed to do a custom piece of writing for it.
The first was the UNITY LIFE Archive about intuition, INTUITION FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF AN AYAHUASQERA MEDICINE WOMAN, which headlines at the top of the ://A\\rc)}’Hi\\V//e:. The fact is, this particular new archive about brujería etc really seems to go nicely with that one. I think there's a pretty easy way to chisel out a more minimalistic version of the statement made in the new archive, and add it to the intuition archive as an extra section. I don't feel the entire piece needs to be fully reiterated there, but I do think some of the fundamental points could be summed up inside it. That would also help to set the stage for the whole ://A\\rc)}’Hi\\V//e: having that as one of the various diverse themes of intuition to take into consideration about my perspective.
Also, the breakthroughs that I had explored in the UNITY LIFE Integrations piece about my latest interaction with 30STM have deeply related with a previous UNITY LIFE Archive I wrote about thier song God's Eye. Actually, these breakthroughs about my perception of thought would greatly inform the way I present my ideas in that one piece eventually. I think I'm not quite there yet, but I can see that that archive wants to be like re-written or something, incorporating some later realizations I've had through this process. I find that incredibly special towards 30STM. It's so beautiful that my healing journey to do with Jared and Shannon could inform my insights about what their song has meant to me. In my opinion, that's an example of their healing power over me. They are having a power that seems to show an orchestrated series of events running through my art in a beautiful way which reflects my evolution in connection with them.
