Personal Health of Ba Adonai

The following blurb was synergized from a series of updates on my personal social media about my health, which follow right after the summary. In an effort to transplant all my personal info from Meta to this website, I've found the effect of providing this index may come in handy for communication with friends and family at times. As a result, the format of this outline may change to accomodate its use.

Health Summary

◊👩🏽‍⚕️ Right now I have an excellent family doctor, who has sent me to some specialists. Through research with ChatGPT combined with the additional support of this doctor, I've achieved a much greater handle on my health than ever before. I'm experiencing some vulnerability to infection and making progress on that using probiotics, but still slowly hunting down the root cause of the issue with my doctor.

◊🍲 I'm struggling with a low metabolism and working to resolve that through healthy diet and exercise. I've lost 80 lbs since Oct 2021, previous to which I was overweight. See the blog entries below to learn all about my diet and exercise in this way.

◊😎 Due to aging, I have minor cataracts developing, so I use reading glasses occasionally but hope to get bifocals when budget can allow. The glasses I currently wear are a symbolic, artistic fashion statement and have no prescription lenses.

◊🦷 I've resolved all my cavities after they had built up (previous to 2021) due to homelessness and poverty. But I still have alignment and whitening as an aim, and bridges for back teeth are out of my reach financially. Plus now I am alway getting routine cleanings and check ups with the cost of cavities out of the way and new dental insurance, and my dentist says I'm doing a great job with my daily oral hygiene.

◊☁️🍬 I currently vape nicotine, and I don't smoke marijuana. The reason I don't smoke cannabis is because I am mildly hypoglycaemic, an issue I've had since likely my early 30's or even mid to late 20's. I do not suffer with any mental health issues such as anxiety or depression, etc.

Personal Health Updates

This collection of quickly written anecdotes about my health journey have been transplanted from Meta. Most are short, written originally as instagram captions to double post to facebook. The occasional one is long, written for facebook and copied to Instagram.

part 2 of the last post, the fluconazole was tiring

Just following up on the last post about the big course of fluconazole that I was taking. I mentioned that it's very tiring to take that. Oh — THAT'S RIGHT. I was sooooo tired. The thing is, I had also been drinking not even long before hand so that also took a lot out of me liver wise. I have been doing nothing but sleep, sleep, sleep, and I CANNOT work out for long. Normally, I'm walking on the treadmill like 4 - 6 hours a day (no problem) or even longer. Now, I can barely do an hour. ChatGPT assures me that it's not a problem with my fitness levels, it's only the fluconazole and I'll be right back to normal a few days after it's done. I just took my last one, and I cant' wait to be back to my usual self. I barely have the energy for anything. I haven't been too irritable but I did have a big fight with ChatGPT at one point then I was venting in the comments on instagram about it. And I don't worry about that at all. But I do see it, it could be that was partially due to irritability a little from all this. It's not that serious for sure. But it's a wild experience to feel such a change in your body. At least, it seems that it's working out with the medication like I thought, and apparently the issue should be resolved by this. I'll give it some time. I don't see the doctor to follow up until March 10th and that is the right waiting period. Although the doctor thinks it's only a few days wait to see the fluconazole results, I've found they have more results in the long weeks or even months after the course. Why does it work slowly on me? I might ask ChatGPT. Whatever the case if it's unique to me, I suspect also in general that yeast ecologies aka gut flora and antifungals are not that well understood by medical science.

resolving longtime candida problem

One thing I never got around to posting about, due to the personal nature of the issue, was a super severe candida problem that I've been struggling with since about this time last year in 2025 or sooner. For those not aware, candida is a gut bacteria which sometimes gets out of balance with the rest of the bacterial ecology of the gut — and when this happens, it can cause yeast infections in women (and even men), along with other issues. The type of issues vary, as you will hear about here.

adding daily carbs helped workout endurance

Right now, I'm stabilizing my calorie intake (aka keeping them at the same level). And as part of that, I've been eating carefully most days and allowing myself to go crazy on weekends eating much more. But this week, I decided to skip the weekend binge and instead just have more carbs every day.

supplementing fibre was epic

I mentioned earlier that due to increased pressure on my core from walking 4-6 hours a day on the treadmill at my standing desk, I noticed that I was a little backed up and needed to supplement fibre. Doing that not only worked to get rid of acid reflux and discomfort in my core, but has worked wonders for my health. I know this is hardcore to share, but for the first time in my life I'm having experiences that match with some of the epic hippies I've known in my spiritual hippie community days. I've been friends with some people who are OBSESSED with colon cleansing, sharing often of crazy experiences of extreme mats of hard carpet or leather coming out of them (lololol). These people have reported amazing spiritual experiences from the physical results of the cleanse, purging toxins that have been basically accumulating longterm (like for years and years) around the sides of the intestines. I'm not achieving their level, like stuff that you'd take a photo of to put on facebook cause that's how intense it looks (lololol), but yeah I am having some crazy different stuff releasing. And it's not acheiving total NIRVANA or anything for me, in psychological benefits of the physical changes, but it has done wonders. It's nice to finally no longer feel that my stomach is a giant pregnant belly just for "no reason" because I ate a small thing. And this crazy excavation process only happens during my period when the entire lower half of my body seems like it's preparing to give birth or something (lol). So I'm not worried about it. I like supplementing the fibre. Haha! ))

extra protein didn't work to increase sleep

Well, as I mentioned before, I had switched to Vega Sport instead of Vega One in order to increase my daily protein from 80g a day to 100g. I had read that it might help with sleep and increase my health. I think in a way it did make me feel more nourished, but I really didn't notice any improvement in my sleep. That was the main interest for me in doing that. So, since Vega One has more nutrients which I feel I'm missing from my diet now, I'm switching back to that in a couple weeks. It's been about 4-6 weeks experimenting with 100g of protein a day, so I'm sure the nutrients from Vega One are more important to me. I look forward to that healthy change.

hepatitis b shot

Well, I finally got my Hepatitis B shot today, after figuring out through blood tests searching me for disease or immunity, that I'm not immune to this. I think I got Hep A when I was a small child in school but I passed on the B. It's a serious life threatening STD like AIDS / HIV, but the thing is that it's very uncommon because most people are vaccinated for it. I was glad to catch this and get it done. I feel a little woozy and feverish from the shot - a bit tired too (although that could be from the night out last night), but I am sure it won't be too bad. Tylenol should take care of it. Now I have 2 more shots to complete the sequence, one in a month and another 6 months from then. It just feels good to have this out of the way ❤️‍🩹 ))

hypoglyceamia symptoms resolved

I’m happy that the morning miseries I’ve suffered with for years are finally all gone away thanks to switching what I eat for breakfast and throwing in a small snack before bed. I’m having protein waffles for breakfast now, which has carbs and protein. I wanted this big oversized care bear mug from the drug store, the sad blue care bear “grumpy” because I relate so strongly to that, before I’ve had my coffee in the morning, for so many years. Just, I have no mental health issues, but I admit it’s always been a rule around the house not to really talk to me until I’ve had my coffee (lol). But a part of me wnats to just stick with my HELLO KITTY as much as I feel that care bear cause it’s healed now. Sure, I feel a litlte tiny bit on the sensitive side when I first wake up, but as far as I understand that’s completey normal. adjusting to standing desk & treadmill

It’s going really well with the treadmill and standing desk. I think I need an iPad but otherwise it’s cool. All physical disarray from inititally getting used to it is now behind me. It does feel like just breathing air, like nothing, to walk for endless hours while working. I mean to an extreme degree, like effortlesly burning 1000 calories a day according to my apple watch, and on days off like 1200 before I actually feel like I’d way rather rest. I dont’ even need to stretch that often. And now I’m seeing the results, it’s working out that I stabilized my calories. I was a little worried cause I was eating a lot actually and I thought I would gain weight, but it worked out at least that once I got into exercising I was fine, my weight is not gaining anymore, and my metabolism will thank me for not lowering my calorie intake. This really does chain me to the desk hardcore, and it limits how much I can travel which really sucks, but oh well, so that’s reality and reality bites but I’ve survived way worse :( I mean hey, I sure wish I had lost all the weight I wanted to lose by exercising rather than dieting now that I understand how much that’s fucked up my metabolism to be on a diet, and now that I’m a pro at exercizing insane ridiculous amounts haha - like WHO IS??!! No one is (lol). But live and learn I say. I woudn’t have learned all this if I hadn’t have just done whatever to figure it out as I go. I’m not alone, so many have learned this lesson the hard way too. I can recover my metabolism over several months etc if I just buckle down. Like it could take a year or more if I’m eager to get to an insane high metabolism, but It’s not that bad </3(crown). I can take breaks.

discovering hypoglyceamia

I’ve finally isolated that I have a mild hypoglycemia, which I’ve had for many, many years - probably since my late 20’s. Around 2018 ish, mid 30’s, when I became homeless, I started having really bad moods in the morning, and I now finally link that with how my breakfast eating patterns changed. In a state of poverty with less choice over my eating habits, I embraced intermittent fasting, finding hunger would not be an issue for hours and a morning coffee would sustain me. Because it appeared the coffee was lifting my mood to some extent from this bad mood, I didn’t realize that the lack of morning carbs was the missing link and reason the mood would come up before the coffee. For this issue, a good breakfast and certain schedule of protein , fats and carbs will create healthy mood cycles into the next day. I realize previous to 2018 I always used to eat a big bowl of oats and fried apples for breakfast - not much protein, but a little, and now I recognize that was why I didn’t suffer with this problem. Increasingly in my 20’s I noticed that smoking marijuana was completely impossible to enjoy, and this was my first hint that blood sugar modulations (which cannabis causes) were causing anxiety because of something like this, but I could see I didn’t have diabetes and so I was confused — not understanding hypoglycemia. I figured it out now because intuitively I started eating Vega for protein first thing in the morning and noticed a dramatic improvement, which caused me to research. I’m now adding some carbs to this and we’ll see how this unfolds, with blood sugar monitoring now.

nutrition changes with standing desk & treadmill

I’m enjoying the new treadmill / standing desk setup a lot. I easily achieved my goal of 800 apple watch calories a day burned through walking, in the first week, so I upped the goal to 1000 but it’s obvious that soemdays time won’t permit it. Yet time is the only thing pretty much, to some extent. My strenght is improving really quickly - I’m much more effortlessly doing long errand missions throughout the city now. I’ve noticed some health issues since starting which are not that serious, like acid reflux for the first time in my life - just the way I see it, walking this much causes more health awareness. Some things that hvae resulted is really clear choices to supplement fibre more than I was even planning to already, and also increase my protein ideally from 80g a day to 100g if I can, which I can in a couple weeks. And this has totally transformed my relatinoship psychologically with sleep patterns - the drama of weather I’m tired or should sleep is replaced with simply knowing I will sleep whenever I sleep. But I think more protein will get me to more sleep hours. And this has made me a more movement oriented person who does yoga and dance way more spontaneously wihtout thought, which reminds me so much of the movement arts community types that I’ve been friends with in the past, who I never related to much until now. I noticed a lot of beautiful things about their personalities which now regsiters for me as a direct psychological result of major amounts of movement such as 4 hour hikes and stuff. This makes me want to learn things like Chi Gong and other types of fun stuff, just to have more repertoire for those moments of spontaneous movement when my body is moving me naturally.

new standing desk and treadmill

I have my. standing desk and treadmill now !! )) Huge lifestyle change !! )) < ]* … The first day was so hard cause my back started hurting a lot, and then I found out it was just aergonomics, so I took away the incline on the treadmill and kinda adjusted the height and my arm position and that got rid of the back pain :)) It’s really not that hard at all and it’s nice that I do pull out the yoga mat to stretch nicely for 5-10 mins now and then. This really iberates my schedule. I used to spend a lot of time actually working out in the morning and now life is way easier to time manage. I’m taking it slow - according to my apple watch, I burned 800 calories yesterday lol - it was much less than htat for real cause my. metabolism is lower than normal, but at least it was a lot, and it’s no imposition. It’s really good for circulation and seems to be so invigorating overall - I can’t wait to see how this improves my health over time. Oh and it’s not at all hard to type while doing this. The ony thing that’s hard is using my phone. But I can type on the laptop and copy and paste messages and stuff into my phone. Overall I couldn’t be more thrilled with this early birthday present to myself )) :) !! 🤍🤍💎💎💐💐

protein waffles added to diet

In honour of a great story from my friend who shared with me his experience of literally eating waffles with Kurt Cobain, Dave Grohl and Kirst Novoselić, at Kurt’s house when he was working with them in the studio … I have introduced protein waffles into my diet. It was a fun spontaneous decision to come out of boiled eggs into this recipe instead. What you see here, I admit could be more picturesque of this, but at least it gives you an idea lol. This is the waffles, with a zero calorie maple syrup which is really good. I admit it, it has sucralose in it haha - but I don’t really care right now. The stuff you see sprinkled on it is cocoa powder and stevia powder. And there’s nutella on one of them - this is an epic thing just to respect the way waffles always want to be. I don’t have nutella on every waffle haha - just one. These waffles are amazing with this protein. My body does have a hard time digesting too much powdered protein like Vega per day. I can only have 2 Vegas a day - more causes issues. But these waffles have not at all been a problem, so they are super practical for me. By having them, it allows me to also have Vega One and not have to rely on Vega Sport, and that way I get more greens and nutrients in my day. This is just the upgrade I needed right now. I feel incredible about it. Also really obsessed with cocoa powder right now, ike hot cocoa in hot water with stevia. Literally, this is bringing so much joy. The heart shape of the waffles for me literaly represents that NIRVANA is in my fucking heart, that’s how much I love NIRVANA every minute of every day <3%. Someday I need a rhombous shaped waffle maker with rhombus shaped “squares” too, but this is good for now ◊ ))

calculation of low metabolism

Well, the results are in from using Apple Watch data for a month to find out my metabolism more precisely. It’s a lot of math cause Apple Watch tracks your calorie burn assuming your metabolism is high, but if it’s lower, the calories burned are less. Anyway, after religiously tracking calorie intake, calorie burn through movement, and my weight (right at the lowest water retention time of the month, right after my period twice before and after this month) ……. I’ve got bad to moderate news. I mean if I truly did gain 1 lb. of fat, which is debatable possibly if it was even fat, then I’m in shit. This sucks !! I have to assume my metabolism is low.

final cavities with new dental insurance

Another big day at the dentist but I finally have all my cavities filled and old metal ones replaced. That was such a journey getting there. And so nice to get the last few done with the new Canadian Demtal Plan. Free dental insurance! It’s a new thing! And this is what we’ve been complaining was missing from the Canadian Health Care plan for all this time. In fact once I found out I could apply for the insurance I held off on my last few cavities. It took forever to go through the process of getting, only for me due to complication with my legal name change, but all done! Now on to braces and a whitening. I think my teeth might be straight by the time I’m done paying for my mororhome in 2 years. It’s nice being on the final stretch of my auto loan and imagining straight teeth at that potentially somewhat life changing time.

health research through chatgpt

ChatGPT has positively transformed culture and social culture to be equalizing. It totally changes the rules of who can be a cooler person. For example take health and diet - it used to be when Google was all we had to rely on for research like people who have a MAJOR grasp on their health are only the MOST grounded people - the people who have their shit together in life to a WAY deeper level - because the amount of time this necessitates in Google researching into like every little health dynamic you’re noticing in yourself as you go, is an unbelievable amount of time, and takes so much skill with information discernment and knowing how to filter your sources. But now any relaxed and easy going person or busy person can totally pursue health knowledge so easily every day with ChatGPT with so much more easy governance against health fictions, and gimmicks. And that means those people are way more cool, like socially they have more social graces with others. Like I cannot tell you how much I have grown in health wisdom through ChatGPT. And sometimes it is true my doctor knows how to guide me for what questions I should be asking but this is such a crucial empowerment with doctors, and any doctor that doesn’t like you using ChatGPT is a loser. My doctor is so cool - she hopes I will be using it of course. It’s just such a whole new world. ChatGPT FULLY DESTROYS GOOGLE. Google is DEAD. In this way with health I just wish I had this tool in my young years as well as so many other practical skills. This is the age of equalization. Now in conversation with friends you can educate your friends so well just by imparting some of the myriad incredible things you’ve learned with this tool. Like in our garden a cat was spraying our plants and I taught the other gardeners exactly how to properly rinse their plants and what the precise way is to avoid illness if anything potentially soiled and how to tell if anything’s sprayed and this is so great that I could teach them properly for just health and safety. It’s so handy to have it that easy, otherwise people are naturally like “Oh right you should always rinse your vegetables” but they don’t know how with vinegar etc….

tough day at the dentist filling cavities

Tough day at the dentist but I’m SO PROUD OF MYSELF for getting 4 cavities filled in one sitting, including removing and replacing old silver fillings from the 90’s with white futuristic fillings :) My jaw hurts now and it was very stressful, but I’m all done 💎🤍. Now only 3 more cavities to go, and thanks to today’s sessions everything is all done on the right side :) ✨✨

alignment of enormous cavity filling

I had a visit to the dentist today for an alignment of a previous HUGE mother cavity I got filled. I couldn’t believe I had 9 cavities to fill when I got my last cleaning / examination. Well I knew it was piling up :( 🖤. Thankfully I have help from my Dad this time and I aim to have them all filled within a few months :)))))) 🤍🤍🤍🤍❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥. Actually I’m really excited about getting them whitened and aligned after all this, as a huge reward to myself for finally getting this situation under control. I LOVE this educational set of teeth that was laying around at the dentist. They have tons of these kinds of things around :)))) and I really love my dentist. I feel so confident with her !!!!

wisdom tooth extraction

Well I just had my wisdom tooth extracted. It was such an issue to make way for this emergency appointment. There’s never a good affordable time for this kind of thing. But I enjoyed having the time off to recover from this. I’m watching the entire Twilight Saga (twice in a row). So awesome )))) ✨✨✨✨
